i understand that he fucked up but the fact is that he is a awesome reciever and a true play maker

plus he seems to have great chemistry with sanchez and he is that tall deep threat reciever the jets have wanted for years, santonio is good but he is kinda smallish and doesnt present the matchup problems u have with braylon

Nothing needs to be mended, as far as I know.

Yes, of course. Time wounds all heels.

Going to depend on how much his market value is after the season. Santonio Holmes is more of a true #1 receiver though.

He and Holmes are going to have to prove themselves this season, One will stay, one will most likely be gone. Both are risks and Holmes is more talented, but Edwards is a big target as long as he is able to hold onto the ball. It would surprise me if Tanny offers them both the same contract and say 1st to sign wins...

I thought they already were. This DUI is going to be great for us, we are going to get him so much cheaper. Not because of chaacter issues as much as because of the risk of a suspention in '11.

He definitely has chemistry with Sanchez this year, I hope that we resign him on the cheap for next year. I have a feeling that he will ask for too much though, like #1 receiver money...I'm not sure if he is worth that.

Holmes is a solid number one, and I don't see JCO having a problem stepping up to the number two spot without edwards. We will see how things fit together once Holmes comes back.

Edwards and the Jets are fine.

It's Edwards and the Media that is broken, but who the fuck cares what a bunch of retired talking heads spitting on your TV screen says?

I think Edwards hurt his contract value enough with this DUI and other issues that we may be able to keep both him and Holmes....maybe.

Holmes has better hands. but as long as Edwards has to extend , reach, dive, jump or any other thing that makes the catch a reaction he's fine But... if he has time to look the ball into his hands it's butter fingers. (the Knoblock syndrome)

Probably not. Sometimes it's best to just cut ties and move on. Clearly they cannot work together anymore.

Do you work for ESPN or something? There is no rift between Edwards and the NYJ.

That must be it, the grammar is way too poor to not work for ESPN.

Did something happen this afternoon that I'm not aware of? Can someone please explain to me what's going on with Braylon and the Jets?
