I just have to give a big thank you to Brodney Pool for his performance last night in the stretch. I think this is one guy who was overlooked in accolades for our win. He made the TD saving tackle against Marshall with 45 seconds left in the game. If Pool didn't make that very close tackle Marshall goes in for the score and it is a possible 2 point conversion and tie into OT. Then Pool deflected the 4th down pass in the end zone.

Two very nice plays in the last minute that helped us win the game.

I thought Eric Smith deflected the pass in the endzone, but I do like Pool so far

    I agree he deserves props!

But I also have a question how much are they playing him? It seems for long periods you don't see him then he makes a big play. I just can't figure if there is a rotation that I can't follow or if they are resting him in the first halfs and playing him more in the second half.

Eric Smith is given credit by the announcer, but it was #22 with the tip.

Pool gets my respect. That was a huge tackle in the end. I though i pooped myself as Marshall was running down sideline as Fasano ran over Smith.

Yeah, it seemed like the announcers didn't know who #22 was because when he made the last minute tackle against Marshall there was dead silence from them as to who did it.

    1. Pool saved the TD by tackling Marshall
    2. Pool defended the 4th down pass
    3. Pool made that nice INT vs the Pats last week on the sideline

So far he hasn't been very visible, but he has made some very big plays for us.

Was Antrell Rolle available before we picked up Pool? Imagine if the Jets picked him up instead.

This guy needs to be given a bit more credit for what he did last night. He came in and played well through out and then in the final drive for the phins after Marshall makes that catch and is running down the sideline for the score he makes the diving stop at about the 6 or 7 yard line to prevent the TD and then on the 4th down play he jumps right in front of Fasano to knock it up into the hands of Drew coleman for the win. I Think Pool is going to be a bigger play maker then most of us had anticipated from his play last night on that final drive aswell as that game changing pick of Thomas Brady last week, Big props to Pool.

Love the fact Rhodes would have never made those two plays that acutally made us win the whole thing :)

Pool is clearly an upgrade over Sherry....

However...Sherry probably takes that 4th down knock away the other way for 6....

But then again, Sherry doesn't tackle Marshall so the 4th down play never happens, because the Phins scored already.

How can you not love the Cleveland Connection ?!?!?!?!?

Rhodes would have caught and returned the 4th down throw.

It's the one thing he does do.

Agreed, Pool has been great the 1.5 games we've had him for. Rex said he would shock a lot of people....I knew he could play but I just hope he can stay healthy.

I'm just curious why we started a second thread named Brodney Pool ?

Rhodes would not have taken that back for 6.

He would have been run down by Jake Long or someone when he starts stumbling at the 50.

They said he was going to be the steal of the off-season. Imagine Kerry Rhodes in his place. No way that stop gets made.

No Dolphin would have been chasing him at that point.

    Maybe Vagina Forehead...

Haha true, Rhodes had the knack for making the Pick with no one behind him and then slowing down tremendously and getting tackled from behind.

Yeah Sherry is more often the victim of a sniper than anyone I've ever seen. He had a pick for the Cards earlier this year and flat out ran out of gas after 40 yards.

we didn't want rolle. too expensive for not enough production. plus he is a soft safety. put it this way, the cards think rhodes is way better becuase he plays tougher and has better range then rolle. we all know rhodes has great range, but he was a p*ssy in run support and played soft. also rolle has called out his new team and got benched for losing his cool. oh and teh giants defense is still dead last in points allowed. I like pool better
