He didn't say that because that's what he was actually being punished for...he said that to avoid the possibility of a grievance filing. Per the CBA, a team cannot punish a player for an alcohol related offense so in order to avoid any issues coming up, they used a different excuse...although everyone knows the real reason.

Mike and Mike need to get their facts straight before they start talking crap.

For what it's worth, Braylon said that he would not have filed a grievance if they had.
