That game in '86 was incredible. Easily one of the best games I've ever seen.

That play is so similar to the LT scamper against the Pats, looks like he went OOBs at the same point on the field as well

That was the game in which Curtis Martin and LaMont Jordan each ran for 115 yards.

Wannstedt coached the following week against the Cardinals and then was fired.

That game still represents the Jets biggest margin of victory over the Dolphins, but it now has company. The Jets also won by 27 points over Miami in 2007. They beat them 40-13 in Miami that year.

One of the greatest shootouts I ever saw. What a game. Wesley Walker was incredible that day.

Well I hope you are aware that even though it is the Phins home opener around 1/2 of the stadium will be NYJ fans if past years are any indication so you can also say it is the NYJ home opener in Miami :finssuck:

Dick Enberg has made a career of screwing up players' names.

That 1986 game was such a big deal in England. One game a week (a 45 minute package of the game) shown a week after it happened. Word got round via the newspapers of the score and it seemed like my whole school was watching that game even though everyone knew the score and despite the fact it was 7 days after the event....but in those pre-internet days and pre-live coverage days it was great.

I have that on VHS and have watched it a couple of times since. Still a great game.
