He's been riding the Dolphins all offseason, and he also predicted that the Jets would miss the playoffs. No surprise there.
A lot of people are predicting the Fins to win and it really shouldn't be too shocking. They're 2-0 and playing at home. They've beat us 3 times in a row. They have a very good defense and a very good running game. The Jets also have a lot of injuries. This is probably going to be a 1 score game, so picking the 2-0 home team is no shocker.
All of the analysts are picking the Dolphins. This makes sense from a team on a roll at home point of view. The problem is that none of them are asking the very relevant question of exactly how the Fins are going to score on this defense. I don't think they can, much like I didn't think the Chargers had much hope of scoring on the Jets in the playoffs. So while I respect the reasons that the analysts are picking the Fins I think they've lost sight of the forest for the trees. I think it's going to take a terrible day by Sanchez and the offense for the Jets to lose this one.
every media pundit in the free world picked the Pats to destroy the Jets last week......I'm glad they're all picking the Phins.....hell, i hope nobody picks the Jets for the rest of the season if it means we come away with the "W".
Not all the experts are picking the phins. Its about half and half from what ive seen. That being said I think the Jets should win this one if Sanchez can play as well or almost as well as he did last week. I expect a big game out of our defense because you know rex has had his D hungry for dolphins all offseason. If Sanchez and our ST play up to par this one is in the bag.
It's possible that the offense goes into the fear shell we saw against Baltimore. They are facing another coach from that defensive coaching tree. I hope they learned their lesson, but I won't be shocked to see the same pussy bs.
that was Rex's first tilt against the Phins as the Jets HC....I don't think the Phins offense will have their way with the Jets D...the same way they did last year in Miami.
i don't think it happens.....I would've expected the Jets to be more afraid of the NWE defense, than the Phins. The Phins D has a glaring weakness in the secondary.....anybody outside of Mushin Muhammad knows that. Schotty and Sanchez should be able to pick them apart.
I hope not but the D we will put trotting out will not be as good as last year while the O Miami has should be better. I would hate to lose to those guys for a 4th straight time. Miami's secondary is much better than NE's.

i don't mind people picking miami, they are 2-0 and looked good so far. But with that said prisco hates the jets and will never have anything good to say about them. he has miami in his top 5, the buccs in his top 10 and the giants and jets back to back at 14 and 15
