Ray never got convicted of anything. Stallworth did a year, so he got convicted. This is the New York Media. When will we all learn that this is what they do. They'll take a routine NFL off the field mistake and turn it into the apocalypse. Cooler heads prevail. That's why you let it run its course and don't get caught up in it. It goes away after Sunday and everything is right again. Yes, the Jets troubles are no different from any other team, but most fans don't follow other teams closely so they don't know those things. If anything, the Jets are looking like a cleaner version of the Cowboys dynasty. I'll take that every single season.

it's a byproduct of the media market we're in, in addition to the fact we're the "in" team due to the personality of our coach, our pretty boy QB, and the talent we have on the team. everything little thing related to us is going to be major headlines. and the media vultures will pounce on anything negative in a minute. they even do that when no one cares and we suck....it just happens to be larger media outlets (ESPN) doing it now also It won't completely go away because when/if we stumble, they'll bring up stuff like this as an excuse to throw it in our face...but as long as the players don't do anything stupid off the field from here on out, it'll be forgotten and deflected because another moron or group of morons on another team does something stupid.
You hit the nail on the head. I have ESPN on my TV right now and Every 10 minutes they bring up Braylon Edwards. I guess thats how they get the ratings, by bringing up the top news but enough is enough. I guess you guys are right and it will be a back story after sunday. Thats IF we win.
