you guys are kinda quiet regarding this...i bet you expected vegas to favor jets by 5 points or something haha go fins!
Why would we expect the odds to favor the Jets in a road game against a divisional opponent that is 2-0?
Pats -1.5 to -3. That made complete sense too. Pats offense looked scary against Cincy and the Jets looked like they would never score.
I imagine this could've gone into the Jet/Phin discussion thread. We never post odds here, because they are pointless. It's a damn good thing we actually play the game I guess. LMAO
In odds they always start by giving the home team 3 points so if it was in ny the jets would be favored by 5.
So were the Patriots! If you need odds, arrest, best player out and or any other clue on what is going to happen on sunday night. Here is One: MIAMI DULPHAGS are going to lose because The NYJETS are better team! Very simple and you take that to vegas and makes some money.
Keep in mind that bookie odds aren't set as a probability of who's going to win, they're set to attract an even amount of money on both sides of the bet and collect the fees as a net
haha........ i just wanted to get a rise out of you guys. fact is.........1.5 is nothing........and like someone above said....home teams are usually given +3 for playing at home the interesting part of this game is this: jets played a bad game against the ravens......played great against the patriots miami played a bad game against buffalo.......played great D against the vikings it seems both teams need a game 3 to determine if their second games were flukes or not. hopefully, both team's "A" games come out on Monday night......there couldn't be a better stage for this early season showdown.. critical game for both teams for many reasons. everyone has injuries man (to the guy mentioning revis).....miami is missing the starting end and starting linebacker and starting corner (odrick, crowder, w.allen) on defense. the arrest of edwards won't affect them
We are about 60% of us and will still win. No Pace, Jenkins, Revis, Holmes, prolly Edwards, and Pitoitua. Maybe just maybe Vegas factors in injuries. Pool is questionable again too-
The line was -1 when I checked last night. Take into account 3 points for home field, and Vegas pretty much thinks the Jets are a better team. I hope the line goes up, would be easy money.
It's a division game, too. Those have always been tough for the Jets even when our team was far superior. Look at the Bills last season.
i expected Miami -2 1/2 .... i guess the public is back on Jets bandwagon... over/under 34 1/2 is way too low - im going to bet on over .
