I hope Brady's shoulder can hold up during the game.

I really hope Shaun Ellis doesn't hit Brady like he hit Flacco on the Ravens' first possession, and if he does I really, really hope that he doesn't land with his full 285lbs on Brady's right shoulder.

Nah, I don't fancy Brady's chances of doing Ellis much damage. Unless it's with his car maybe.

So the Jets got fined because they lied about Favre's injury.

The Patriots have put Tom Brady on the injury report for how many years now?

How many games has he missed because of this shoulder injury? NONE

    Yet Goodell has done nothing.

    You stay classy Commish!

I am more worried about Welker he killed the Jets in the 2nd game last year. I cannot believe that guy is back and playing well after a torn acl in week 17. He brings a lot to the pats offense and always seems to kill us on big 3rd down plays. Brady will be fine it is Welker we should all be worried about.
Oh and by the way :pats_suck:

    welker isn't 100%...

he looks good but he doesn't have the same quickness right now he did during the 2nd game up in new england.

the linebackers need to light him up on this short bubble screens and catches down the middle.

if the jets hit him hard and hit brady, they'll win the game

That would be a thing of beauty. Scott and Harris are just the men for the job. I agree he is not 100% but he looked pretty close to that against cinnci last Sunday.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Rex put Revis on Welker and how that would affect Brady and the Pats O. Maybe its a really dumb idea, but it seems like it could be fun and it also seems like it could really disrupt Brady and might make him more vulnerable to pressure and sacks. Then again - Moss could go bananas and score 5 Tds. :eek:hmy:

I like the matchup with Cromartie on Moss and Revis on Welker. Put Wilson on the 3rd WR.

Cromartie just needs to jam Moss at the line of scrimmage and then stick on him like glue.

    it is a dumb idea.

just because you're banking on that the pats have no contingency plan for that.

this is the NFL. coaches have contingency gameplans for when a team focuses in on one of their key components. i'm sure they have a playbook dedicated to welker(or the slot receiver) being double covered or shut out.

Thats exactly what he didn't do on monday night. Revis will be on Moss.

    I disagree.

If Cromartie is playing like he did on Monday we will lose this game by 5 TD's if he's on Moss.

If he can't jam him..Welker will get open. It's that simple. The guy always gets open, and catches the ball..

We need to hit him immediately after he catches the ball..his yards after carry are ridiculous.

I hope Pool is healthy...Kinda need a quick guy that can hit very hard to cover Welker.
