Typical response. You can be care free on this one, but I really don't think it's something that should be taken lightly. Hamstring injuries linger for a very long time. Even it's it's just tightness, this is not good news for our best player.
"See, what you do with Revis is you cut the hamstring in the back, right above the knee. That way when he goes to backpedal, boom! He's got nothing. He'll have to give up the game for good."
"That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over, what the fuck are we supposed to now, huh, what are we gonna do? "
Damn this sucks. Us Jets fans should seriously never be be happy until we are actually holding the Lombardi Trophy.
For now this isn't a huge deal, but hamstring injuries tend to linger. Hopefully this does not and he doesn't injure it further.
He's a fuckn' athlete. Of course his hamstring is going to feel tight here and there. Have any of you actually played sports before?
He's coming on live press conference http://www.newyorkjets.com/ We'll see if he holds out of this one for 45 minutes again.
As long as Revis doesn't have to cover anyone who runs really fast in a straight line, he should be ok. Now who do we play this week?
None of us are even remotely close to the athlete Darrelle Revis is. It's just a little alarming that 1 week after ending his month long holdout, he is experiencing a hamstring injury. It's not like he'd be the first football player who held out a long time to come back and experience an injury.
He played a full game without complaining of hamstring tightness, so this just came out of nowhere. If it were related to his holdout then he wouldn't have lasted the entire game, or practices up to this point. He's fine.
Might have named this thread told ya so.....oh wait then it would be full of pussies ha ha...no really I was joking....
