There is no doubt the Ravens are good but we have too much talent to play that bad on o. Two passes attempted over 15 yds against a shitty secondary is inexcusable. Nonstop pre-snap motion for three yard checkdowns against an elite lb corps makes no sense to me. He looked better last yrs opener. Chicken shit play calling and a chicken shit qb is what we saw.He was obviously skittish in the pocket so why not put him in shotgun or roll him more? I have faith in sanchez but shotty sucks and is a liability regardless of how good balt is and the outcome. All the talent in the world wont matter if we continue to mold this kid after trent dilfer. You play not to lose and you get what we got. We have seen him throw a sweet deep ball. Most his picks are intermediate type routes so what gives? You are exactly right. Thats the point of this thread. Too much overreaction. The Jets are a great team. The offense isn't that bad. The Ravens are pretty good too, but the Jets blew it themselves. Call better plays, execute better and the Jets are a Top team.
Its about where you finish, not where you start. Jets had a tough game and made plenty of mistakes. Still they only lost by 1 pt to one of the best teams in the NFL and they had a chance to win the game in the final minutes. Didn't happen. So you pick yourself up, fix the mistakes, get better and you go out and win your next game. That is what winners do.
