shit.. smith would have gone to the house
but it was number 84 - so it was Hartsock, not Mulligan.

I was thinking about that when someone on here was bitching about our wild cat.

Personally I think we need to run it more, and occasionally have him throw it.

Especially once holmes gets back that shit will be stretching defenses real thin

They're going to have to come up with a new stat for crucial, game-costing mistakes and name it after Hartstock. As in, so-and-so led the league in Hartstocks.

I agree with the OP. People make fun of it but thats the only thing that works. When we started busting that shit out last year, we moved the ball. Sanchez still has a LOT of work to get to be the QB we hope he is one day. Meanwhile, Id like to win some games and not be 9-7 like last year with t he best defense in football.......or 2nd best

get that block, he scores, Jim Leonhard breaks away from the punter on that one return he had, he scores. so many fucking things could have altered the outcome of that game, still pains me to think about. Jets should have won.

and those two plays you mentioned usually do not happen alot, and we fucked both of those plays up.

There were so many little things we could of done to win.

Jim Leonhard beat the punter.. we win.
Hartstock doesnt run into Brad Smith and block him.. we win.
Braylon Edwards doesnt hit the punter.. we win.
Braylon Edwards doesnt get the Dustin Keller completion called back.. we win.

i could go on, and on.

Yeah, I was surprised Jim couldn't shake the punter. Maybe he was tired by the time he hit him.

Brad Smith doesn't have to run more wildcat... HE HAS TO BE OUR STARTING QUARTERBACK!!! THINK ABOUT IT!!! DON'T SHIELD YOUR EYES FROM THE TRUTH!!! B SMITH AS OUR QUARTERBACK A MICHAEL VICK TYPE WITH THIS DEFENSE WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE! UNFUCKINGSTOPPABLE.

    Seriously.

I'd love to see it. I know it's probably not feasible and he probably doesn't have an NFL arm or NFL accuracy (thought he was awesome at Mizzou and was thrilled with the draft pick at the time), but it would be awesome to have a QB that could move like that. I mean, he doesn't have Vick's quickness, so I don't think you can put him on that level, but it would be pretty cool to have a QB like that. Imagine one that can run AND throw?? They don't really exist.

Holy shit I didn't realize what Hartsock did on that play until I just saw the replay. I'm sure he got ROASTED in films.
