    — Ravens RB Ray Rice on Rex Ryan

We lost to a team that was purely, and simply more focused than the Jets were last night. It's hard to say there are positives after losing a game that really should have been in the bag.

Our offensive game plan looked as if we were playing afraid. Why?

10 penalties for 100 yards in the first half alone.
140 all together, and only allowing fucking 10 points.
But there really are. We got embarrassed, and will hear this all over radio/tv/media etc.

How could being embarrassed be a good thing? I dunno a big fucking wake up call? We will find out who Mark Sanchez is on Sunday. I hope this pretty boy can handle the pressure, and verbal assault he will be getting this week.

What we saw though was a defense even without Kris Jenkins that shit all over Ray Rice.

Kyle Wilson breaking up a touchdown to Heap, and Cromartie looking like Revis Christ out there with the interception.

These two guys need to settle down, and focus/play disciplined.

Our Offensive Line was able to pick up the Blitz pretty damn well too..
    ----------------------------------
But onto the Patriots who shit on the Bengals early, but did indeed give up tons of points after they secured themselves a big lead.

I think we will, and can beat this fucking team. Brian Schotty JR needs to take advantage of ANOTHER team with a weakened secondary. Plus this teams front 7 cannot compare with what we lost to last night..by a point.

Last year we played so well with less talent in the first few games.

This team is so much better than 9 fucking points.

Where is this guy? Will he be there Sunday?

We all know this kid has it, and can do it. But it seems like they leashed Sanchez up all night.

where the fuck are the bootleg/misdirection throws, and taking shots?

I was more afraid of the Bmore Ravens than I'am the New England Patriots.

Someone tell Ray Rice starting out 1-0 doesn't get you a superbowl either. Dunce.

Rex said last year to Sanchez.. "When we get the lead we arent going to hold down, and sit you back. We will continue to take our shots"

    Lets do it.

I thought we had Pennington at QB.
Dink & Dunk and hand off up the middle.

tough call to do on the first game of the season especially since this team is expected to make the playoffs at the minimum.

if we were a 4-12 team then I would be all for firing him. we clearly are not that type of team though.

I agree we should give him a few games to turn it around, but check out this stat, there hasn’t been one Jets 300 yard passing game since 2006. Not even with Brett Favre. Schottenheimer just doesn't have the guts to call the big plays

out of all the guys on the Ravens, Ray Rice should be the last person to speak out based on yesterday's performance.

jesus christ. i never knew that.. Favre never had a 300 yard passing game?......... well I mean I know he was fucked up for atleast 6 games, but that is truly unreal.

I know we want to be a ground and pound team, but we have Jericho Cotchery(who WAS NOT Jericho last night) Braylon Edwards, Holmes(soon), and Dustin Keller. LT too catching balls?

Impossible to cover everybody.. Sanchez and Schotty Jr need to really figure it out.. I know it seems simple, but this is what these guys do for a living. Figure it out.

edit: Yep just looked at Brett Favre 2008. Closet to 300 was 280 something.

We don't need 300 yard passing performances, we do need something resembling a modern NFL offense though.

I really want it to be Sunday already to see how this team performs. That's my hangover feeling of the day.

The bright side is that its a short week for us so we can see how this team responds to looking like an NFC West team.

The Jets will be up for NE...there is nothing that gets this team pumped than the Patriots, at home. Of course, i'd rather have the Bills at home, but hey the Pats will pay for last nights mess....and I will look forward to it!!!

The Bills at home is always a bad game for the Jets.
