Greene. A) He doesn't fumble that ball in the 2nd quarter we pick up a FG Baltimore doesn't score. Go into the half 9-0. B) Drops that swing pass with daylight in front of him. If he catches that he probably gets a 1st down or worst case its 3rd and short.
Plenty of blame to go around. Penalties killed us. Mark kept checking down. Shotty called a JV H.S. game
TOO MUCH HOLLYWOOD! it seems too many of them came to NY to be on tv, in the media centre of the world.
No way is Schotty getting cut midseason. Who's going to replace him? Anyway, I really thought that his playcalling would be better this season because of the continuity with the QB. So far, I guess I was wrong.
That's not very fair. Braylon look set on the illegal shift penalty, and on the running into the kicker that was just pure bullshit. He was sliding from trying to get the block and he didn't even run into the kicker the kicker put his foot down on top of him. If you know what he should have done differently I'm all ears.
Overall? Rex. It's his team, he gets the blame. Offense? Schottenheimer. Sanchez's focus was a result of coaching. Both coaches knew the risk with Greene and both coaches knew the risk of playing Tomlinson without a option. They both asked too much of a 30 y/o RB.
pretty much everyone on the offensive end including schotty, outside of brad smith and LT. The line had stupid false starts and holding penalties, sanchez didn't even look downfield half the time, Greene and his fumbles and drop, cotch and his key drop, keller and his retarded play. That is pretty much everyone. I don't think it could have possibly been worse. The funny thing is we only had 1 turnover amongst all that, and IMHO it was worse than the 5 turnover game against buffalo. Kyle wilson being burned was going to happen this season at times. No excuse for Cro's penalties, but the defense did enough to win us this game. no matter how you slice it holding a team to 10 points is a successful fuckin game.
You're right, no way he's getting cut mid-season. He should get cut NOW. But of course, he won't, because people are still social, and they don't want to piss daddy Schottenheimer off. That's why it's up to Woody, who could give a shit. Come on, Woody, don't let me down. You have no losses.
Watch the game if you're going to post about it. The 2 penalties were bullshit. The kicker saw Edwards lying next to him, so he decides to put his foot on Edwards and pretend to trip on him. The penalty where Edwards wasn't set was Sanchez's fault. Edwards had to sprint to the far end of the field and get set. Sanchez snapped the before Edwards had time to set himself with the line and ask the ref if he was set.
I think you should change your signature. It looks like, um, yes, it is going to be the same old Jets this year, without the glory again.
Was not impressed with the offensive line at all today either. Plenty of penalties, and Sanchez was forced to dump it off a lot because those 3 and 4 man rushes were collapsing the pocket so quickly. There were a lot of reasons we lost this game, but ultimately I think the most blame has to fall on Sanchez for this one. The Ravens have a weak secondary, but he barely ever threw the ball more than 5 yards down the field. It's hard for me to know whether or not there were any receivers open down the field, but on that last drive especially... throw the fucking ball down the field!! Can't wait till we have Holmes back...
I dont wanna spam 45 more posts to create a thread but there must have been a good 15,000 (probably even more) Raven Fans at our 1st HOME GAME From watching on the TV every time that TE made a catch I hear HEEEAP from the crowd. There was even one play where you could hear the Raven Moan for a PI on Cro during a replay. I guess Woody had to sell a few tickets to Raven Fans not to get this blacked out for PSL park
