    1) Pay the premium on tickets.
    2) Tailgate in the rain.
    3) Buy expensive foods.
    4) Wait patiently for the delay.
    5) Scream your asses off. the crowd definitely did their job.

    for what?

    1) To stay till the end and witness the worst offensive performance ever.
    2) See "ONE" third down conversation the whole night.
    3) Witness Slauson get manhandled.
    4) Watch Keller get knocked shitless by someone who actually backed up his talk.
    5) Witness the dumbest display of fundamentals, or lack thereof on the final play of the game.
    6) Drive home in despair..

o man. I truly, truly feel for you guys.

    Drive home safe.

I was one of the fans who made it out.. Since I do not have a PSL i had to park like 3 miles away and take 2 shuttles to the game and still had to pay 25 dollars. However before the game it was a blast. I got the chance to watch the Michael Kay show up close. Got to see Kay, Greene, Golik, Buddle, La Greca ten feet in front of me and got a chance to meet Michael Kay and Woody Johnson. The environment was great. Theres a lot of things to do... I especially like that there IS re-entry into the stadium. The outside balcony was terrific and the sound was great in the stadium. I definitely enjoyed my experience there but just cannot afford to go anymore this year

I walked into the stadium right next to Slash.
What could be bad about that?!

This may be the post of the year.......exactly what I was thinking, word for word. I mean after hearing all spring and summer how 'super' this team was, 'hard knocks', all the talking and yaping..... and then they cannot convert a single third down until the final minutes?? That was a pitiful performance and the saddest thing is I'm not the least surprised. 1983. 1999. 2005. 2007. 2010. Same thing.........

It's like prom night. You've got the hot chick, car, expensive tux, took time to get everything in order, you've done your research into "the best ways to get laid" open the door for your date only to have her vomit all over you and ruin the rest of the night.

Yeah but you can always clean off, change the tux and still get laid later on and laugh about the memories....last night was by far worse. The loss itself I could shrug off if it wasn't for all the talking and bravado the Jets displayed all summer. MNF. New Stadium. No first downs until the 4th quarter. All those converted 3rd downs by the Ravens when the Jets needed a stop the most. Penalties. It got to the point where I was not only expecting the worse but simply laughing out loud. Silly pee wee league mistakes. A turnsile for a left guard. It's like pulling your pants down to the whole world after being in a pool for two hours. There is no way this team beats the Pats next week. Not with a 'super bowl' offense like that. At least in 1999 we could blame injuries. It could be a loong way down from here.......

The rain actually timed out perfectly if it had to rain. Enough time to cook and get everything put away, rode it out in the car, got in the stadium in plenty of time for the game, not a drop during the game. Rain was the least of our trouble.

Other than the loss, I had a blast as always.

I partied with 17a and his boys, Tballz63, rmagedon, Royal, jetsbabe, Catherine and the drunk guy that sits behind me now.

It did suck getting home at 2am but it is what it is.

Time to move on to the Pats game.

    Hey dick head
My tickets were $105 without a PSL. Not an issue
It rained before the game and I was under a canopy. Never got wet
Took in food from the tailagate. Spent $0.00. Not an issue
Heard it was delayed and tailgated for an extra 30 minutes. Was great.

    For What?
We are fans of the team, that's why we went. Its sports, not a sitcom, we don't go to the games counting on anything but cheering for OUR team. We don't need your pity pal, guys like you belong on the couch so you can second guess everything. What would you be saying if we won 27-24 in OT. Nothing. You would not even post. Makes you feel better when we lose huh. That way you don't feel like a lazy, cheap acting old man

If this team was run by vegetarian women who's old men deserted them after knocking them up instead of by meat-eating males, this thing never would have happened.

Thanks for making me feel as old as I am.
He was the guitar player for a band called Guns and Roses back in the 80s.
His new band played outside the stadium last night until the lightning stopped it after 3 songs.

    As for feeling bad.
Some of y'all don't really know what it is to be a Jets fan.
Feel bad for us guys who went and sat through 2 seasons with Rich Kotite at the helm.
Feel bad for us who sat and watched Dan Marino put us in a tailspin and end our season with a fake spike.

    Feel bad today? No way.
In week one, you don't win or lose a Super Bowl.
This team has issues, but it's not as bad as some people think.
The defense is going to be sick.
The future still looks a lot brighter than it has in many years.

I went to the game, I had a blast too, despite the rain and lightning.

17A if you read this...what lot are you parking in?

I got stuck in lot M which was by the frigging race track...they don't have the parking figured out yet and its going to be a pain to get over to your tailgate for the Vikings game.

I have the yellow parking pass.

    _________

PS- I also yelled my throat into submission too.
