Is a disgrace. Makes the Field look totally generic, with an air of neutrality. I hate it. They can do better than that. They need to do better than that. The midfield logo's **midfield** centrality is integral to the stadium and home-field. What a disgrace in my opinion.
I think they mentioned that they had that medallion for today so they didn't have to swap it out for tomorrow's quick changeover of the field, and that it'll be different for each time going forward. But that my be BS.
Agreed. Sorta lame that they can't switch it over in an entire week. (Except for this week, where the quick turnover would make it impossible) Hopefully they will swap it future weeks.
Is it a possibility that they switch it tonight and then they would leave it over for the week for the Jets - Pats game?
I heard it was something to do with the seams and player/team complaints or worries about injury possibility. Supposedly they're going to leave the NFL shield in all season and see how the field is with the endzones being switched out week in and out.
