in a B-movie. The ending was perfect. You could see how happy he was to be back and it was such a relief for him to be on the field and be accepted by his teammates.
Yeah..that was f**d up. Though..you do have to understand the considerable stress the man is under. Being that young, he still has more 'ME' in him. My guess is...watching that, after the fact he agrees with you.
It is typical of a lack of understanding between the sexes. A woman wants to nurture and comfort in a time of stress - a dude wants to be left alone. Hell, what was there for him to celebrate? The wife was trying to lift his spirits the wrong way. He just needed some freaky sex I'm sure.
I really hope Washington doesn't get picked up by someone else. From a pure running back standpoint, I prefer him over Woodhead and McKnight.
The dude probably told his wife he was making the team before he should've....... like someone else also said...... the difference between men & women. I'm sure he felt awkward, knowing in the back of his head that he may get axed while not wanting to disappoint his wife who's excited for him. it happens......
Yeah there really was no better ending to end the series than that. It was funny when Rex said "well here comes some slap dick player we signed" lol

Hey, just wanted to add that having the Hard Knocks series to watch this season was damn awesome, hope it does not turn out to be the best part of our season. Rex and Westy could go on the road with there act, those two were funnier the Martin and Lewis, for those old enough to remember them. One last comment to those posters who feel the need to attack players families, to make themselves feel better, We have a lot of Slapdick mother fuckers on this board, okay, now let all go eat a God damn snack !!!!!
great series and glad it turned out to entertain non-stop. i knew rex and westy were characters, but watching them on hbo made me realize that they are beyond my expectations.
I was dumb enough to try getting my wife interested in the show, since others here had such success. Well, I'm happy to say my wife is still not the least bit interested in football or the jets. She flat out told me, I'm not watching, I don't care. Nice huh? I don't ever want to hear her complain about my absence on Sundays ever again.
This is hilarious. Yeah I bet the Ravens got a whole of the Jets strategy from watching hard knocks http://espn.go.com/blog/new-yorkjet...cks?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Saw this in the comments. Bahahaha! Al Toon 88 (9/11/2010 at 12:52 PM) You had a DVR, you read it all Xs and all and still got everything wrong!! For days you and your chum on PFT orgasmed over your "nuggets" of information and in the end you continued to look like a shmuck. We'll see how right you are about this little "nugget"! ABinx36 (9/11/2010 at 11:58 AM) You're an idiot, Cimini.
Just got onto watching the final episode. I know they're trying to make it dramatic and all but they spent so much time on fringe players, and even then Woodhead was only in it for a minute.
I thought they should have been more honest with those they cut. They gave them a lot of BS. Like Corey Reamer for example. "You're gonna make a great coach one day--not saying I doin't think you can play." (paraphrase) He should have just said, "We don't think you showed that you can play at this level." Or better yet, just say player A, B, and C outplayed you.
