That's what all of us would like to see realistically. Actually, for as bad as the numbers were this preseason Sanchez had over 60% completions. That is something to be encouraged about. LT is going to be a huge weapon this year if he doesn't get hurt. He is going to be that checkdown outlet that he desperately lacked last year.
We are on the same page then. This is exactly how I see Sanchez's career progressing. I am hoping for the playoff Sanchez to stay but not expecting it by any means.
I think if you analyze where and when Sanchez was getting the higher completion percentage, it was against the opponents' second and third stringers.
He did well against the quasi starters against the Giants to be fair. Really, I could care less where the % comes from in preseason. I am not hanging my hat on it but it sure as hell beats the low 50's he had all last year.
BINGO. It was not as much that Sanchize improved in the playoffs. The play calling did. I am hoping that Rex does not let the playcalling get as out of hand as it did last year.
