I didn't think that the show dwelled on players that would be cut. Hell, they had a segment on 3 separate shows about John Conner. They didn't really lean heavily on the more prominent players on the team, but the show is mainly about how hard it is to make an NFL roster. The cuts illustrate that best.
His wife is a lawyer, plus he's been on practice squads for 3 years now I believe. Which is about $90,000 for 17 weeks. Not too bad.
Jason Davis' wife is a lawyer. Chauncey Washington's wife is the dumb bitch that made the sign and the cake. Like some previous posters said before, it was probably a rental home.
Loved the episode, Rex was awesome again and I have a new respect for Woody, too. Hard to believe he's been the owner for eleven years now but when you think about it he's been here a while, knows the ropes. I love how he was game to fly down to Florida and do whatever was needed, yet firm with his stance. That was some Sopranos shit right there, they should have played that theme music when Rex was riding to Teterboro, haha. You can tell Rex was confident he could win without Revis if he had to.
A shitty cake at that. You could have done so much better, something along the lines of Cookie Puss or Fudgie the Whale.
You could tell he wanted to be left alone and not jinxed with a celebration before anything was final.
Yeah, I'm sure he had to really stop himself from yelling out "GET THAT STUPID FUCKN SIGN OUTA HERE BITCH. I AINT GOT NO JOB YET!"
At least Washington's wife was trying to do something to cheer him up. Most NJ housewives would be blowing the rent money on clothes. Don't know what she did to deserve being called a bitch.
Yeah Washington did his best "look straight ahead and acknowledge nothing" impression. Did you notice how damm clean that plate was at the end of the segment? I don't think that she was a bitch, perhaps instead just a woman who was hoping for a big payday at some point in her life.
Um, throwing a party to congratulate him before he knew whether or not he made the roster. That's not a bitch move, it's a stupid fuckn' move. She's a bitch for being stupid.
I was impressed too by Woody's hardline stand against Revis agents. The simple fact is, Woody has been in control of hundreds of millions of dollars of corporate assets since he was a very young man. 2 greedy little upstart punks trying to hold him hostage for 10-20 million won't make him bat a freaking eyelash. All Woody phone calls suggested he doesn't talk to or deal with such trash. Good for him. As for Revis families handling of the situation, it's clear all got in way, way over their heads and they seemed actually relieved Rex came in to the rescue. Uncle Sean's next piece of advice should be to retire as advisor and tell Revis to hire Rosenhaus.
Oh, she threw the party? She invited team mates over for a BBQ? I didn't know all that. I thought it was just a typical Labor Day backyard get together with some friends. Maybe she was trying to simply say she was proud of him no matter what was going to happen? Geeze, what a bitch. She should have been bitching him out for being on the bubble. That's what a good wife would do.
