Yeah, I was joking, although he said he didn't really watch him on JI.

Actually, around here we quote where we got it from. You want to know more, do your own homework and stop whining, rookie.

Sure, you say that now. But where were you when I needed you?

RotoWorld claimed Jets signed Jarron Gilbert ...Not the case (could sign on PS later)

I definitely wanted Gilbert in the draft. Not sure why he was cut so early but I'd definitely like to see what Rex could do with him, especially because we're sorely missing depth at end

The Bears couldn't use him and their 4-3 D was not that great, this guy is PS material and may be different in the 3-4. Otherwise he will only be a U-tube pool sensation. I'd give him a look maybe a year.

Hopefully we can still pick him up. I think he could fit our system better than the Bears.

Any word yet. This is the last I've heard via thejetsblog...

The practice squad currently has the following players: C Robby Felix, CB Donovan Warren, T Dan Gay, WR Larry Taylor, LB Ricky Foley, DT Martin Tevaseu, and LB Josh Mauga. They still have one opening. Will try to confirm if that guy was here and we didn’t see him.

I'd love to see Gilbert fill the last spot.

    Oh,

looks like cimini stated Cody Brown will be the other spot. Which is good news as well.

Gilbert could still be exploring other opportunities before he commits though. So I wouldn't rule it out quite yet.

I think Gay is gone; he'll likely be replaced by Patrick Brown, the guy we claimed off waivers.

I expect Brian Jackson might move to the practice squad now that Revis is in-house. If that happens, we'll call the PS set at a tentative "8."

Obviously, Dixon needs to fit in somewhere. And I think Chauncey Washington might sneak back in. Jarron Gilbert might jump on board, but we have a lot of maneuvering to do between the final 53 and the practice squad.

I think Josh Mauga, Larry Taylor and Martin Tevaseu are the only "locks," right now. Everyone else on this squad might be walking soon.

Or we could scrap Dan Gay, he's abysmal.
And for each of those maneuvers, dozens here will wail and carry on about it.

Holy shit, did you hear the transponder of the grocery bagger he was facing? That thing was buzzing faster than an EZ pass during rush hour.

That guy had what 5 sacks and then the next day he was filling sacks with food items.....

I know this is the dogpile on the rabbit but Dan Gay might be worse than Anthony Clement or that other horrid show they replaced Kendall with. (thankfully I forgot his name.)

Patrick Brown is currently on our 53 man so I assume that he is going to stay there, otherwise we would have just brought him onto the PS.

    My guess to the PS

    HB Chauncey Washington
    CB/S Donovan Warren
    CB Brian Jackson
    WR Larry Taylor
    LB Ricky Foley
    LB Cody Brown
    DT Martin Tevaseu
    DE Jarron Gilbert

Side note: I would absolutely love to add Freddie Barnes to our PS over Chauncey or Ricky Foley

I only heard he was claimed. Where did you hear he was signed to the roster? If he's part of our 53, that's a terrible move.

Why? He provides depth at every position on the line.

    per JetsStream

I remember Rex ran this kid's workout before the 2009 draft....I have a feeling he'll make something out of this kid.
