He's making $850 grand this year, (all guaranteed) and is a RFA next year.

Yup. He has a one year fully guaranteed contract. He took a paycut, I believe, from his tender

Yeah, Coleman signed a one year offer with the Jets worth $1,176,000.

In August Coleman changed the terms of his contract to provide $850,000 in guaranteed salary. Coleman will earn $630,000 in salary and received a $220,000 signing bonus.

I like how Coleman and Clemens have the same vet minimum... and while Clemens has to agree to a vet minimum only Coleman gets a 200k bonus on top of that :p

Seriously... the guy must have pictures of Tanny and Woody doing dirty stuff together...

Ok so... we have 75 players excluding Pitoitua (IR), Revis & Ainge (Did not report)

We need 54 (53 + Holmes)... that means we need to cut 21.

    Already cut (confirmed): 15

    S Cook
    FB Davis
    C Felix
    S Fitzhugh
    OLB Foley
    OLB Knicky
    DE Lamb
    ILB Lee
    ILB Mauga
    ILB Satele
    DE Steinkuhler
    WR Taylor
    OG Teofilo
    DT Tevaseu
    DB Warren

6 more have to be cut, between these 9:

    WR Foster
    OT Gay
    OT Turkovich
    OG Tanner
    CB B. Smith
    CB Jackson
    OLB Reamer
    RB/WR Woodhead
    RB Washington

That also means when Holmes and (hopefully) Revis come back two more out of these guys will be cut.

While I'm sure Gay, Turkovich, Tanner and Smith will get cut I'm curious as to who the other 2 will be... Foster is almost a lock (unless he proved ST value) and then it's a toss up.

i would say the other 2 will be Bo Smith and Reamer

edit: my bad - i meant foster and Reamer

i think as long as Thomas, Taylor and Westerman stay healthy we are solid at OLB

    Already counted Smith.

I don't know about Reamer... it would be my guess to but it wouldn't hurt to have a guy that can play OLB while Pace is out, would it?

Brian Leonard is the scumbag Bengal that went low on David Harris last year.

Rex said Kyle Wilson would most likely be the PR if/when Revis returns.

Sorry, Obviously meant Jim. I did spell the Leonhard right.

Just so damn excited after Rutgers win last night over powerhouse Norfolk State.

I think Jackson goes PS. That leaves Reamer, Woodhead and Washington. Which of those 3 get the ax down the road will likely depend on their play untill Holmes comes back. Revis... who the hell kinows.

How is Gay not cut yet. I wish I had Tannenbaum's #, I would cut that stiff for him. In a morass of shit that was last night's game, that dude was a gigantic floater stinking up the joint.

I think he allowed 3 sacks in the limited time my stream was working. Give him a stack of plastic bags. That is what he is good for.

Cuts will be official tomorrow... the ones reported are just because Vrentas or Manish have someone who confirmed them.

Probably they have no one who can confirm Gay or Turkovich getting cut... but it'll happen...

There was talk of Kroul going to the PS. I think he's earned a roster spot.

I fucking hate to say this, but we can't get rid of Drew Coleman. Nobody has earned his spot on this team. I thought for sure Don Warren would've signed his pink slip, but I guess he fell from the 1st round to the 8th round for a reason.
