Disney has extended their free dining from August 15th until December 15th. Stay 4 nights and eat free.

The tree is "The Tree of Life" at Animal Kingdom. Inside it is the Bugs Life movie.

Pixie Hollow is at Magic Kingdom

I'll be in Orlando early next month and probably going to, or atleast trying to get to Disney.

Need my Tower of Terror fix.

For those who dine at Disney. September 15th Disney rolls out its new drink menu...Alcoholic of course.

Also, The Turf Club Restaurant at Saratoga Springs will roll out a new Lunch and Dinner Menu.

I am proud to say I created 2 drinks on the new menu. A big accomplishment for me. To get a new drink on a Disney menu is huge. It has to go through so many corporate hands it is ridiculous.

One is a bourbon based spin on a Manhattan

The other is a gin based beverage, perfect for a warm summer day.

I don't know if this is true about Disney in Florida (maybe you guys who work there) can help me out but I just found out that the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland is actually outside the park grounds. You enter inside the park but after you finally get in your buggy you've actually gone under the wall of the grounds.

Disneyworld in Florida takes up half the state, so my money says that the ride is entirely contained in the park. GM and his fam actually live on property, you can see them when you take the Hollywood studios backlot tour. There's Mrs. GM making some Blueberry Pie! Kids playing ball on the front lawn, the golden retriever. etc.

I think the one in Disneyland is the one that went outside the park layout but still on property they owned.

If you look at the one in Florida on Google Maps, it's definitely a bit out of the way of the rest of the attractions but it's still on property. There's a parking lot for the employees right next to it. The building for that damn ride is huge.

Just throwing this out there to those who are looking to book in the future. With alot of research I happened upon a great travel agency, specializing in Disney, that was WELL BELOW Liberty Travel/Disney rates. They went to so far as to coordinate dinners, recommend park itinerary etc.

Not sure if the powers would be will approve of my posting the name, so just send me a PM if you are interested.

By the way, I'm obviously not affiliated with the agency- just looking out for my people.

Not Disney, but I'm making my annual trip to Universal for Halloween Horror Nights on Halloween weekend. Got a great deal on airfare through JetBlue, $164 round trip and I had to jump on it.

    Pretty excited.

Might hit up Disney for a day while we're down there.

Ask for Phil. Him and his wife run he agency, very little overhead for them. The guy has been fantastic and goes out of his way to get you the best non-retail rates/promotions.

The difference between the package he landed for us, and Liberty Travel, was $1,200. The difference between his package and the one through WDW was over $2,000.

This week is extremely slow, Its a great time to come if you can.
Night of Joy is next weekend and then the Halloween parties begin.
The Halloween parade might be the best one.
