    I dont hate the Jets one bit. You guys have beaten us to a pulp the last few times we have played but that makes me respect you guys even more not hate you guys. We havent beaten you since 1994 and that was like 17-10. You guys own us and I will admit to that.

    I wouldn't blame all of SI for that. Peter King just hates the Jets, and has some weird fascination with the Giants.

    What's also funny is that in Peter King's video analysis of the Jets he says that the Jets can "easily get to the Super Bowl, but may also go 9-7".

    We went 9-7 and almost made it to the Super Bowl so I'm not entirely sure where he's going with that

    I cannot wait to get a copy with that cover and then skip over the article where Peter King spends 2-3 pages bitching about the umpire's new position limiting the effectiveness of Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.

    That would be pretty fuckin obnoxious during a game. I can picture Mangold getting all pissed like "DUDE!! I'm going to drown you in the Gatorade cooler!!"

    Its a "Double Issue" with a fold-out cover. The inside cover is a picture of Revis and Santonio Holmes sitting on a couch playing Madden2010.

    The cover should be Sanchez in his white capri-pants jeans and spray-painted six-pack with mangold in the Hilary Rhoda bikini. Now that would be a collector's item.

    There is no effect at all.

    Aside from a 4-5 year period in the late 80s/early 90s, I have subscribed to the magazine since 1986. There is no jinx. Silly people remember the four or five times a year when someone or some team makes the cover and then has a bad week or season. They conveniently forget about all the other covers that year and then proclaim being on the cover of SI is a jinx.

    Let me ask you a simple question.

    How many times was Michael Jordan on the cover?
