I am still trying to figure out how to establish that I am a Pequot or Mohegan Indian.

Can anyone explain to me why you have to be an Indian to open a casino in NY or CT? If they are going to happen, you would think the states would legalize them and collect the big bucks.

Tell them you and ROJF are both from the Wherethefuckarewee Tribe. Then you can establish residency in any of the tri-states and scalp your tickets as a "non-profit organization."

That would be pretty cool. Indians and Scalping are a match made in ...

I could declare my back yard sovereign land and sell untaxed cigarettes to NY City residents at an enormous profit. Throw in some revenues from Bingo and Slots and I could have the seats I always wanted: front row in the Mezzanine Section on the 50 yard line.

I would be in serious high cotton.

That's the ticket! Charities benefit from sales
    August 19, 2010 By JAMES BERNSTEIN james.bernstein@newsday.com
The New York Islanders business operation hasn't taken any timeouts this summer, spending these ice-melting days preparing a program that gives some charities discounted tickets, and guarantees some revenue for the team.

The Islanders' Charity of the Game program, now in its fourth year, helps out a bunch of nonprofits, including Autism Speaks, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the American Red Cross, among others.

Rose Barre, Islanders director of group sales, says the charities must put down a $350 deposit and then are allotted 200 tickets each. They sell the tickets at discounted rates. Seats in the lower VIP section of the Nassau Coliseum, in Uniondale, for example, normally sell for $95. The charity can keep $30 of that amount and give the difference to the Islanders. And the Islanders have filled a seat.

About 41 charities are committed to the program for the Islanders' 2010-11 season.

"The first year we had five or six charities," Barre said. "Now it's a sold-out program."

There are 41 home games, and each one has a charity connected to it. The Islanders expect to make about $280,000 from the program. The charities are promoted at each game, with their causes put up on the Islanders' video board.

Another way teams fill seats, in this case they SELL tickets to charities.

This is not a ticket forum, please start your own thread if you want to discuss ticket resales.

its threads not forums you idiot.
threads are individual discussions about a topic
forums are the group of threads pertaining to the same or similar subject

17a stadium thread is about sth getting help with new seats
what you do is discuss buying and reselling tix which belongs in the
    buy / sell Tickets Forum
    http://forums.theganggreen.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14

so go make your own "thread" about reselling PSL and all the profits you make in THIS "forum".

did you buy these in addition of PSL seats??

Nope. I don't own any PSL seats and don't plan on.

did you buy them from the jets?

Yes. Bought them directly from them. They contacted me some time last week saying my name had come up on the wait list for uppers. They have a quite a few seats available up there (row 18 and up) based on what they were telling me.

did they sell you just uppers?

Yes. Straight out. 8 games, no preseason. $760 a seat.
