    Glad to see where his head is at. I am not saying its not good to have a backup plan, but you can tell this guy has thought a lot about this. Additionally, Sporano's little retort was pretty stupid too. I hope this causes friction between him and the team.

    I think you're reading too much into it. Harmless speculation. And a harmless comment from Sparano. I'm sure they'll both get a laugh about it.

    there will be a lockout guaranteed. players arent willing to back down and actually wan t more. They refuse to agree to a rookie cap and are extremely unreasonable

    the players and owners are not even in the same stratosphere

    Yeah, not to mention, the NBA is in the same boat as the NFL in terms of lockout concerns, and the NBA is probably at a greater risk of a lengthy lockout than the NFL. If anything, NBA players should be joking about signing NFL contracts.

    Actually thought Sprano's response was pretty funny, now if he actually hires the basketball coach that'd be something else.
