im loving everything i've been reading so far. Im excited and can't wait for the season to get here already

I'm just hoping for no major injuries

If we can have a season with not that many major guys missing alot of time, this is going to be an unbelievable season

I dunno if Ferguson is the best left tackle in the league. It's definitely a flattering sentiment.

Yeah, I think that was a little bit too much. He's definitely one of the top LTs in the game, but I think stating he is THE best one is overstating it a little bit - although I'm sure many will say there is an argument that could be made for it. Nevertheless, it was a very good read. For some reason, I kinda forgot for a moment there that Holmes won't be there for the first four games. With all the compliments he's getting, I wish he'd be out there right from the start. It sucks we won't get a taste of this offense firing on all cylinders till about maybe the 6th game or so.

D'Brick is up there in that top tier of top LT's, but he's behind Long and Thomas, imo.

From all reports, Wilson seems to be picking up this NFL corner thing pretty easily.

I can't wait to see him on Monday night. He was my #1 prospect for the Jets this year, and now he's here. I need to see some Jets football. These other preseason games are nice, but aren't enough.

With any luck this year being Pipped will be replaced by being Revis'ed.

I'm not going to pretend like I have broken down plenty of game film on all of these guys, but I do know another guy which is always put ahead of D-Brick at the LT position is Clady. Every time I see a discussion about the best LTs in the game...his name is always right at the top.

He's not the first talking head to call Ferguson the best left tackle in the NFL this offseason. Is this guy a Jets fan though? That seemed like an awfully slanted article.

A lot of people credit his low sack numbers from years before last to Cutlers quick release. He gave up a lot more last year.

Yeah...see that is exactly why I made sure to preface that with saying I'm not going to pretend like I know for sure. It is tough enough in this league to figure out who is the clear cut number 1 at a given position, but it is even more difficult with these offensive linemen when you don't get to see them every Sunday. It could very well be that D-Brick is the best, but I'm going to let those who actually have watched all of these guys play extensively make that call. IMO, he's at least top 5 LT I would think, but in the end, it really doesn't matter just as long as we know we've got a damn good one.

As a Jets fan you have to think this is a first... No?

Baldinger is from LI, he was probably a Jet fan growing up. Either that or he just loves Ryan. You know psychology, a lot of people now like the Jets because Ryan is so colorful. Shit just look @ Shefters tweet, as a for instance.

I believe he is. He is always pro Jets, which is pretty rare in the NFL analyst world.
