I would really like to get Jets D/st in both of my standard 10 player drafts (yahoo & ESPN) I would just like to know where you guys think they should be taken and if YOU think theyre worth being taken early with the depth at WR and TE ESPN projects them at 133 and last year they scored 161, and trying to be as unbiased as possible I think the defence is strides better then they were last year so I dont see why they wouldnt at least match or surpass 161 and it seems like they wont be there past the 7th round from the mock drafts I've been doing
I don't think they'll go past 9 the latest. If the people you are drafting against aren't Jets fans and don't follow the NFL too closely you might be able to wait until the 8th round. I remember getting the Steelers defense last year in the 7th. They were ranked #1, but someone took Baltimore in that same round.
I was able to pick Jets D in the 9th round last season and was able to hold them this year. I also picked up an extra 8th by trading Ronnie Brown (more than making up for it). However, I see Jets D going by 7th - 8th round.
Yeah. If you really want them, you should probably take them 7th round. Could end up being a steal for ya. My Saints D were out scoring every WR in my pool for a while last year! Jets D should be high scoring so take them in 7 and enjoy!
