Living in the heart of New England TV is certainly not Jets friendly. I can't get Direct TV because I'm locked into cable right now and Direct TV will not just sell me the football season. In past seasons I went to a local pub, but this year I will not be able to leave the house. Anybody have any alternate ways to watch the Jets this season?
We have very lengthy threads on this very subject in the forums. Do a search and you'll find some very good methods to watch the Jets games.
Check back an hour before the first game and there will be a thread on this very subject where people will post links.
I used to live in Salt Lake City. Bought a Slingbox and set it up at my parents house so I could watch New York sports in Utah.
It's just you- Some bars are team specific bars, if the owner was a fan of a certain team. The Jets site has links to all Jet bars around the country. There's a Steelers bar up in OC.
1/2 if not more of the games are on TV here in MA. Week 1 ESPN Week 2 CBS 4 Week 3 NBC 7 Week 4 CBS 4 Week 5 ESPN Week 6 Internet(Pats at 1 on CBS single-header) Week 7 BYE Week 8 Fox 25 Week 9 Internet (Pats on at same time) Week 10 CBS 4 Flexing starts so who knows but I'll go on with the way it's setup now Week 11 CBS 4 Week 12 NFL Network(if you got Comcast/FIOS, if you got Charter then Internet) Week 13 ESPN Week 14 CBS 4 Week 15 CBS 4 Week 16 Internet (Pats on at same time) Week 17 Internet (Pats on at same time) Pending flex you'll see at least 12 games on TV, so it's not really that bad.
Look on Justin tv an hour before game or on here and most people will post links to games being streamed ( even though this is a shocking illegal infringement of the NFL's licensing laws!! lol!)
