i found this hysterical. Not sure why.. I think it's a combination of the random statement as well as your avatar... idk..
1) Jenkins looks healthy... he really shed a couple of pounds. 2) Love it when he says "I think both (Slauson & Ducasse) will eventually start on our OL"... it leaves room for Ducasse at RT in 2011 (I'm hoping for that). 3) Like his analysis of Gholston: for him to be successful at DE he needs to believe in himself.
Big Jenks looks svelte. Good for him. I enjoy how he gets down to business with his answers and doesn't dance around them.
So I heard on ESPN First Take Kerry Rhodes has responded, and said he'd like all his former teammates to keep his name out of their mouths.
Conditional pick in round two through four but only if the Jets kept him under a fairly expensive contract. He was going to be a one year guy unless he performed incredibly well.
Can't say as I blame him, I mean, he's been gone for months now and his former teammates and some Jet fans can't seem to stop talking about him. Move on.
I'm ready for Jenks to bring nasty back to the trenches and cause severe traffic problems inside. Love the quotes and punkin' Rhodes as well. It's so crazy how he can yo-yo his body weight from year to year so drastically. Either way, seems like last year off the field has him raging and ready to shoot out of the gates like a caged animal. Go get 'em big guy!
Jenkins talks : We can win without Revis You have to understand that this defense did a very good job of getting along without me being there, and me coming back, it's humbled me tremendously," Jenkins told host Michael Kay of ESPN 1050 in New York. "I know this isn't the type of team I can be on and act like the center of attention. "With Revis, it's the same thing. ... We definitely have the talent to go and keep on achieving our goals if Revis is going to be absent. I would love to see Revis there, but if not we have to keep on fighting."
yeah but what does that have to do with Lito being very injury prone, and bitching about PI everytime a pass was completed on him?
I can't wait to see him back out on the field this year either. To think that we're basically adding a player of his caliber to an already #1 ranked defense, as well as adding Cromartie, Wilson, Pool, and Taylor, is really a scary thought. Should be interesting to see just how much better the defense can be.
