Murder me for it, but I do indeed see T.O. coming to New York.

What do the Jets do with him after week 4? In a run-first offense, you have Cotch, Edwards, Holmes, Keller, and TO. WTF sense does that make?

    Florio is such an ass.

Actually... the only problem with TO is his bitching. If he hasn't bitched in Buffalo I'm sure he won't here...
Can you imagine a spread with Edwards and TO wide, Cotch and Holmes working the middle + Keller.

That would be the ultimate West Coast offense.

That said we don't run the West Coast. But still... on paper... it looks holy shittish (or holy shittly?).

Are passing game would explode. It would also be good to have him as a backup. Plus we could us LT as a passing option.

Alot would be put on Mark Sanchez, tho he would definately have to step up with a recieving corps like this.

If we're gonna overpay someone who may or may not be over the hill and can't get a job it should be Adelius Thomas not this clown.

That's the main thing. Sure, we all loved Mark Sanchez in the play-off games but is he ready to lead a high passing offense?

    In my opinion not yet.

Then they probably shouldnt have let Jones go, because we are seriously F*ck*d if Greene misses significant time due to injury. LT isn't an every down guy anymore, sure he could handle the load for 1-2 weeks, maybe even a month, but not a full season, and be fresh in the playoffs, and Mcknight hasnt even shown that he can handle a carry, much less be a rotational guy

Most of the teams relying on the run are F*cked if their main RB goes down.

    Terrell Owens to the Jets?

I don't want T.O. But I have a feeling Rex would love the guy and they'd get along like old pals

Yea if shonne greene were to go down we would definately need T.O. to make our passing game good. Altho I do like our passing game as it is now. We will see tho.

    You're wrong.

I'm not saying I think it will happen, but...

Sanchez and Schotty can go 5 wide with Edwards,Holmes,Cotchery,Owens, and Jetfanmack, on a 3 step drop, and be unstoppable.

We couldnt defend it last year, and one upping Indy, beats them.Manning gets really pissed off standing on the sidelines losing.

Get him down 14...and then sack him twice...hard...

    Game over.

I've been pondering this all day and can't think of a single reason why we'd sign TO. We already have a solid WR corps.

If he wasn't such a fucking idiot judging by the T.O. show I might be down for it. Edwards, Holmes, Cotchery, Owens is a pretty insane 4 WR set. However, the media already questions our "locker room leadership/credibility" so if we were to add him we would hear about it x20. I also don't wanna deal with seeing him interviewed after every fucking game and even worse after Sanchez has a bad game and they interview him and you know he wants to say something stupid. If it were just the talent, none of the baggage, sure. But he's not worth the headache.

    Pass.

Eliminate all the confusion by making this your thread title:

Maybe they are looking to bring him in for the games Holmes is out, then cut him afterwards. It sounds like a silly move and waste of money, but it has been done before.

If they were going that route, I'd rather them sign Coles for cheap and keep him for the season. He's lost a step, but he still is a viable option at WR...
