He doesn't really have a choice, if Tanny decides to do that. We have him locked up for the next three seasons.

This is all about protecting the Jets' most important player: Mark Sanchez. He's the future of this team.

I want Darrelle Revis to be a Jet for life, but this team is being built around Sanchez.

This is great news. One of the Core Four has been signed. Now let's take care of Mangold, Harris, and Revis.

very nice. I hope a disappearing pool of money encourages Revis to make hay while the sun shines.

OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson's deal had two years remaining. He now is under contract to the Jets for eight years and $73.6 million.

$35 million in guaranteed money. Good for D'Brick!

I'm curious how much guaranteed money Revis is demanding. It must be at least double that.

Great move by tanny. Now the other 3 can take a deep breath and relax. The Jets really do resign their own.

Tanny should have done this one right from the beginning.

The other guys on the team can't play the media game now and trash the front office. Brick was taken care of and he never cried about it.

Thats the truth, hopefully they will lock up Mangold next. Revis still has some time left on his contract and does not have that much leverage at this point. If Cromartie and Wilson have a good year in the backfield, he may have less leverage yet. As good as Revis is, those numbers are too high for 1 guy in our backfield. Last year I learned alot about Rex...I had said if we lost either Leon or Jenkins we were in trouble, with Jenkins being my "hes done, were done" guy. Well we lost both of them and we still had a great year. Im not too worried it for now....
