I read in some article that we averaged around 3.5 YPC running toward the left side, opposed to the right side where Woody and Moore got us around 4.5 - 5 YPC, we weren't running well on that left side anyway, as sad as it was to see Faneca go, it will be for the best at the end of the day, as we weren't running well on that side anyway. We need the left side of the offensive line to be just as good at run blocking as the right side, Woody and Moore play together so well. As for that article, I think Sanchez will throw less then 17 INTs this year, he may hit the 20 TD plateau though I can see him throwing 20 TDs and like 13-15 INTs
What utterly lazy analysis regarding Sanchez. Lets project what his year end stats would have been if he had thrown 500 attempts based on his year end stats. Lazy. I stopped reading there.
I believe his numbers will flip almost exactly. 20 TD 12 INT. He had 34 TD 10 INT as a starter at USC, with a 164.64 rating. That's the Sanchez we saw in the playoffs.
Many of these articles reek of laziness. Unfortunately, they all just beat the dead horse on topics/points that have already been made over and over again in the past few months. Why not break down some film for us? Analyze Mark's strengths/weaknesses from what you've seen on film, not on the stats/roster sheets. What does he most need to improve on? What can the CS do to improve his areas of weakness? Compare/contrast his abilities against the defenses he'll be lining up against. And then do the similar breakdowns on other players, and even the CS/FO. Just be uniquely analytical. (Cimini, are you reading?) But hey, it's the offseason so we'll read it regardless.
Haha exactly, ESPN is too lazy, or maybe Tim Graham can't analyze any film shit, give me the fucking job and I would easily do that for whatever he gets paid for That would be sick to see the aggressive Rose Bowl Sanchez for 16 games, he was nothing short of dominate against Penn State, I remember watching that game and wondering man I hope we can somehow get this guy as a QB, pro style offense, accurate as hell, the footwork sold me on this kid 20 TDs and 12 INTs with about 3000 Passing Yards would be a quantum leap for Sanchez from his rookie year, #s like that and no one would be able to beat us. Those #s are absolutely obtainable, he knows now that he doesn't have to win games by himself or be a hero like in several games from last year, you could see the speed of the NFL somewhat slowing down for him and he was able to make plays he couldn't do earlier in the season Is it football season yet :breakdance:
I would say over and under on Sanchez, I expect about 25 TDs and 12-15 INTs Over and under on LT, I expect around 750 yds and 5-6 rush TDs Over on Cromartie, he is an extremely athletic guy and opposing QBs will be throwing at him alow w/ revis on the other side. I think he'll get more than 5 picks.
The national media hits on certain points and that's there angle for the rest of the off season. No TJ, No Faneca, LT is finished and we have problems with chemistry. What about the kicker, punter, punt returner, depth on the lines and backup QB? I am concerned about these things, not TJ, Faneca and LT but these people don't know our team, they just read and copy each other. Its like watching a Yankee or Met game on Fox or Espn, we know more then they do about our team, we watch them all the time. The media has become so lazy, I try to remember that when reading about things I don't know so much about. In this case, we know better. And how does anyone know what Sanchez is gonna throw, so silly.
I'm sorry but I honestly can't see Sanchez throwing more than 15 interceptions next season. He has improved so much since last season, particularly his decision-making skills. I think his playoff play is evident of this.
Kicker/Punter maybe, but we should be okay this season at Punt Returner. Kyle Wilson, Joe McKnight, and I think even Cromartie can return punts. We also have Jim Leonhard too.
