I think that is a fair assumption. They have to make that money up.

Basically they have sold 9,000 of 18,000 for full price and are now offering all 18,000 at half price. Even if they sell them all they will at best make back the money they are refunding. Interesting strategy.

OK, I do not live in NY, but Im thinking I'll be taking a couple of trips to NY every year. Please advise, would it be worth it to buy the PSL at $2500, use the tickets I go to and sell the ones I don't go to? I am thinking about this, since the price drop makes it sound very tempting.

I just called to buy and new buyers have to wait till tuesday b/c current ticket holders can move to the cheaper sections. So now they will have the cheap filled and the expensive empty.

You're not allowed to move to a lower priced PSL unless you add seats to make up the difference, so that's not happening.

I doubt, you should be able to get in, just the better ones will be gone.

Someone wouldn't move from a 15k, or 25k PSL to these sections.

They are trying to get current holders to add seats, because that'll make the money issue easier to deal with.

If the fanbase stands pat, we might get the Jets to reduce the price once more.

I paid off the PSL row 2 in the middle EZ section, talked to the rep and they will only credit your Jets account for future season ticket purchases, playoff tickets (did not ask about, but if that happens then I guess it would apply) or parking or you can add seats.

Seriously though I need to take my ass up there and see a game, Ive been a Jet for 10 years now, live in NJ and still havent watched my team. :( I hate money, but love it at the same time, I guess I hate not having it .

    No!

Just buy for the games you want to come here for. Why have the pressure to sell seats each week? Too big a risk. Save your cash and choose seats from resellers better than what you'll get now. Plus if you do that -

    NO PRESEASON GAMES!

Well I'm pretty much the same, row 2 closest to 5 grand section.

That would be 2 full future seasons, I said I'd rather have my 5 grand gaining interest.

I'm getting 5 grand back. If the PSL was paid off completely that's a option.

Sounds like a plan. I want to move in to NY/NJ area just because of the Jets and to avoid this Texas heat. So I would like to be a season ticket holder in the future. Not sure if there would be such an option in the future, thats why I wondering.

I got two seats yesterday. I know it seems like a lot and it is, but if you make payments, its not that bad. Remember this is something you will have forever (until they build another stadium) I hope not anyway. Anyways, the rep on the phone told me I bought like the 1,000 something seats of the day. Thats a pretty good number of seats.

Yes, because the sales reps will always tell you the sales numbers for that day.
