Lol i just plain weird seeing him in our colors, i wonder though. What it must be in that locker room for him?
HAHA! could you imagine! That might be my wish this season. It was that VG gets a sack in the first quarter of his first game, but that now takes a backseat to this.
Why does he look so retarded? I don't think its the fact that its JT in green in white, its just that he's retarded. HERP DERP
Yeah seeing him smile is a good thing i guess, i think that might be rex with him on the left of that picture. Wonder what he's telling him?
Would somebody just egg this guy already. What's he gonna do when we play Miami? Miss tackles accidentally on purpose?
Guys, The sweetest revenge for every Jets fan as far as JT is concerned, will for him to win a Super Bowl as a member of the Green and White. Can you imagine for the rest of his natural life every time he shows off his SB Ring it will say New York Jets on it. A reminder every time he looks at it or talks about his last years in the NFL, that he played on the wrong team for the Majority of his career. That he was almost to the very end on the losing side of the coin more then he ever was the winning side. That in the end it was the hated Jets that gave him his last shot a a championship and welcomed him. An his beloved Fish kicked him him the balls and told him to take a hike........ To me, next to winning that great Monday miracle game an shutting him up in a huge way, after running his mouth the whole game...this would be the only thing to top it !
What terrible writing... he gets a jersey number to honor a past teammate and they make a terrible connection to try and come up with something interest.
Hello Brett......BYE Brett.... "hut,,,hut...HUT!" Let the "Dancing With The Stars" diva fly in--when called for--and engage the lead blocker (for Harris and/or Bart to clean up) OR BETTER YET have hin run free and kill the guy (QB) with the ball still in his hands courtesy of a Rex-schemed "free rush to the backfield blitz that the offensive blocking scheme can't account for" and I'm a happy camper; result? : 3rd & 11? ..or 4th and 13?....fine, bring it diva dolphin. Bottom line: kill (where possible) Brady, Henne, FARVE! (week 5 -welcome back Santonio) ...& co.....week after week....then let's chant/talk...AFTER the lad's earned his "green stripes" ... fair enough? Name of the game: kill the QB. (Bears='85)....and they had Leslie Frazier (very decent but no Revis-who is?), Mike Richardson (no Aaron Glenn) and Reggie Phillips (yikes..no James Hasty) who--overall--couldn't carry the current Jet's '10 CB's jocks as brilliant as that ALL-TIME "D" was. Most of the QB's that are threats to the Jets in '10 are not "Steve Young" type runners/throwers. Keep 'em in the pocket (we've got the DB's)...now let's blast 'em--if not via outright sacks, by hurried/bad decisions and accumulated knock-downs by the 3rd/4th qtr... i.e. what translates to 17-14 type of "offensive-ugly" wins on the road if need be (or even more offensively-contributed and convincing Jet v. Texans type opening day, 2009 wins). Wins are wins. Meaning, on the other hand: vs, Atlanta '09?..at HOME?...stopped 'em all game....after the "O" shot themselves in the foot all day long....with repeatedly great 2nd half field position...courtesy of the "D"......until.....when it mattered, they couldn't kill Matt Ryan when it mattered....better team LOST that day.....ugh!... Yes, Sanchez'll probably not repeat that performance, but there's no guarantee that at some point in the upcoming season (in front of a hostile 'away' crowd) the NYJ won't be playing a well-schemed "D" on a particular day down the road in '10....hell, we don't have an exclusive patent on that. So that being the case, what if, just in case, what do/will we have to put the hammer down come crunch time?: rewind: Granted, Rex's daddy back then played a 4-3 (Hampton, McMichels, Dent & co.) with the Bears in '05 but whatever the upfront scheme.....their "M.O." WAS to put the fear of God "where are they coming from?!" in the QB (and Offensive Coordinator's) mind. Hate to say it, but the Jints pass rush kept Brady from racking up his usual 30+ numbers when it came to (SB) crunch time. Forget the last minutes of that game, at the worst, the Giants would've lost that game 14-10. I'd take 14-10 going into the 4th quarter against THAT PARTICULAR RANDY MOSS/WELKER team any day of the week. The only time the NYJ vs. NE QB experiment didn't work?...ironically: "Mr. Mo Lewis?....please meet Mr. Bledsoe..." I don't think history will repeat itself. Respectfully TGG, I think repeated enemy QB 'hits' will repeat itself--into wins. Kill the QB. Bears...Ravens......I'm thinking/psyched that Rex is gonna push the Jets defensive "M.O." this year with the intent on opponents wondering: - "where are they coming from?" schemes - with a 'backside' D that's a threat to take ANY interception to the house - which jacks (a Jenx-healthy?) run support group up a notch ...imagine, turning the Jets into both a pass and RUN nightmare of a defense to play against....closing the web altogether. Pass & RUN defense equals an "all-weather" defense that stands up against ALL comers. With that in place, I like my 'home' playoff chances (esp. with TGG loonies in attendance) ..... whadda ya think, Peyton? Outdoors?...in the cold?.... Let our league-acknowledged solid DB's combined with an UPFRONT "better get rid of it quick" scheme reek havoc in the play books of all opponents (Brady, Henne, and all others) ...... let it ring as a warning bell pealing "uh-oh...TROUBLE!" courtesy of all Jets (Miss Jayson "dancing with the stars" Dolphin-'Quiffin' castoff" Taylor included). ....including Peyton (once upon a playoff time, 0-41) Manning. Yes Peyton-it happens (and it DID happen)....and it wasn't 'bout their "liquored-up" kicker ;-) (should've been ...3 - 41 Peyton?...smirk). (see: '85 Bears vs. Jints/Rams playoffs).....and yes, at that Jets-Bears 'Saturday afternoon' game--freezing!---that many Bears thought per their post-game quotes, that they'd very possibly be playing the NYJ "later" that year, i.e very possibly, the SB). Yes, we're great in the "D-backfield" but take TIME & DISTANCE UP FRONT away eliminates 'options' (e.g. Colt's 3rd receiver running 'streak' routes down-the-deep[middle ....i.e. "over the top".... no matter what 'style' offense you're facing. Just my humble opinion. oh and btw, no Gholston-Dent pipedreams ..... pleeze. (wink) Can't wait for the season. props rex & co.
