I'm surprised only one poster in this thread agrees with me.

Come on ROJF, you are straight up bullshit on this man...

17a? 227? Loge? Come on Pepsi Corner, Stand Up.

ALthough Woody has really stepped up his game in recent years he did drop the ball on the PSL/parking situation. This unfortunately is one big mistake on a pretty impressive resume to date.

If not for the PSL gaffe, I think he would be highly regarded by most Jets fans. He miscalculated the PSL deal and is being viewed as a money hungry prick by some. I'm more apt to say he is a good owner with room for improvement.

This is true, yet our PSL structure is rather corporate and will shut out very loyal fans in what may be one of the most important seasons in 40 years. I'm not looking forward to seeing the boys play in front of a quiet crowd that may not even sell out the stadium.

And you know this how? Are you a STH? Are you aware of what is happening with the parking this year?

I agree with this. Imagine how many PSLs will sell and how many Morton's steaks will be purchased in the Clubs?

I'll have a cosmo please, let's go to the steak house... It's raining........

true, but they are knocking hard on that door...I just cant wait for it to bust open and see the JETS in the playoffs and the Superbowl year after year

I live near the Atlantic Health Center and every once in a while I will drive by. It seems to me the player are always there all the time since Rex came to town....its a really good vibe

It's better this way. We have an owenr that will do anything to win, Leon was great for us fans as far as not getting ripped off but I'd rather pay more for a winner than pay less for a loser.

Yes, some of the club seats (Mezz level) were discounted, but in exchange, the lounge/club for that section is NOT all inclusive, you have to pay for food and drink. The 400/20K seats downstairs are inclusive, like the Devils fire/ice lounges.

I didn't follow the financing of the stadium that closely, so I may be wrong here. But if the PSL's were necessary to avoid sticking the bill to taxpayers, then that just is what it is. You won't find a bigger fan of the Jets, but I wouldn't expect taxpayers to pay for a new stadium as much as I wouldn't agree to pay for Obama Care....oops, bad example. But you get the point.

The only blemish I can come up with is his failure to bring the Jets back accross the river and even that wasn't entirely his fault as Silver and the rest of the Westside Elite said no to the Railyard option. So far, Woody certainly has grown into the job as a football owner. One day, he'll be in the Bob Kraft/Jerry Jones class of owner. That being one of a power broker.

    Nice Job Woody !!!

Lets hold off on the same old Jets for one more year please. I need to see a Jet team have a winning, successfull season when they are expected to be good. Then I will believe. As far as Woodyie, I have been defending him for years, I thought getting rid of Mangini the day after the season when we went 9-7 took some huge balls. The Super bowl stuff turns me off, he has no right saying how good it is for the Jet fans and should not be complimented on private finance, its being paid for by the suckers who paid the PSL

No we don't, SOJ is an attitude that the fans created. It's gone now.

You don't hear same old Browns or Same old Lions.

The SOJ fan is a dieing bread, and I can only hope the new stadium provides a more positive crowd.

he should be equally concerned with both if he is only in it for the money. the best way to sell those psl's is to win.

I wouldn't call him a prick for this, but definitely disappointed.

Greenbeenz I thought you were in the 15k seats, does that mean you are not a real fan. I don't think cash has anything to do with it.

ROJF has to shut the f&ck up after he turned down the row one 15k seats!!! I like Woody but I don't like him that much. I also don't like that the 6k and 7.5K row one and row two seats all went to scalpers that is bullshit.

BTW Pepsi Corner 100 Level is getting a Captain Morgans club. Right by my seats. Rum and Pepsi please.

The stupid EW seats on stub hub are worst resale in stadium. So don't feel jealous. Paying all that money per game and no free food, sucky deal. I am thinking next year I am buying a GHC ticket for peanuts to second pre-season game and eating like $500 dollars worth of food, yea woody I am giving it to the man.

To be honest a row 26 UD EZ psl free seat is even stupider than a low row aisle in 7.5k section by 15k.

I think it is safe to call a man whose first name is Woody and last name is Johnson a Prick.

I wonder if his middle name is Richard?
