yeah definetely an offseason article.... but yes the Jets havent won anything yet so its certainly still a Giants town (as far as football goes). For a time I thought it would always be no matter what but the Jets are gaining in popularity for sure.

This is so dumb. Personally I never felt either team ran this town. Neither have much credibility unlike the Yankees over the Mets. Even before I was a Jets fan I never really though the Giants were bigger than the Jets, they always seemed just about even. And honestly who cares? their is no rivalry at all so why are we talking bout this?

Nahh Giants were always bigger its hard to argue that. Im sure after the Giants crushed the dreams of our biggest rival a ton of jets fans hopped on their bandwagon. But now I think Rexy is giving us our own identity and plentya swagger, I got a feeling a rivalry is a brewing. I know I for one wont be forgetting Eli cheering against us in the AFC championship last year next time we play them. And Brandon Jacobs, the guys 28 and he still hasnt done shit. Brandon Jacobs is the worst starting RB in the league. At least Justin Tuck doesn't sound like a dick.
The Jets beat the Giants last year and they own the Bragging Rights. The Jets went to the AFC Championship game last seaons while the Giants tanked and choked their way through the season. Brandon Jacobs is perhaps the most overrated RB in the NFL. Maybe I should care what he has to say, but I really can't think of a reason why.

Last year my giants fan friend invited me to their last home game. I sat there observed but on the inside i was laughing. I really hope the panthers put another 40 on the giants when they open the stadium.
