Kurt Warner may not thought to be the Brett Favre type. Now that Kurt is retired, he's retired. There's no reason to not believe that. But we've recently picked up on some rumblings suggesting that it's not out of the question that Warner could return for another season. Some believe Warner assumed he'd automatically get a job covering the NFL on one of the networks. To date, he hasn't. And, by now, the assignments for 2011 are largely firmed up. So if Warner won't have a TV gig in 2010, the thinking is that he could be lured back to the gridiron... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/05/18/some-think-kurt-warner-could-come-back/ The Steelers should sign him to soften the Big Ben fiasco. Warner's a devout Christian, which is about forgiveness and being kind to all - enemies, criminals, etc. It'd be a good PR move and the franchise would be in safe hands underh is guidance in the locker room. Plus, he could teach Big Ben a thing or two about being a human being.
Agreed. He's got nothing left to prove, and it's not worth risking his health. First ballot HOFer, IMO.
More random speculative bullshit from PFT. He made a joke about coming back a week or so ago, then quickly stated it was not happening.
