Link : It’s All About Depth for the Jets May 5th, 2010 - by Bassett > http://www.thejetsblog.com/2010/05/05/link-its-all-about-depth-for-the-jets/
Wow, you people aren't very nice. Why do you have to offend?? If you don't want to interact w/ her just block her posts.
From the looks of things, you're trying to get on kelly's good side...you must want to have cyber sex with a European tranny.
As I've said a thousand times, I'd rather someone post the link and not copy down the article than copy down the article with no link. I see that happening all the time. I don't want to ban people for that, but if people keep ignoring that, I might have to.. That said, Kelly could at least put a little bit of the article...
Man, I don't understand the hate on kelly. Yeah, she's probably a tranny bot from Greenland, but she's like the GangGreen press briefing and saves me the effort of going through the different media outlets to get Jets news. She serves a purpose here. Oh, and the atricle (not very good, infact) New York Jets coach Rex Ryan came to a podium over the weekend, bypassed the normal hyperbole of offseason press conferences, and said something downright sensible about this year's rookie mini-camp. "I don't think there was quite the excitement of this rookie camp as last year's rookie camp." If there's a lack of hoopla surrounding their four draft picks and the undrafted free agents they've brought to camp, the Jets aren't the least bit disturbed. That void is the mark of a resurrected franchise that comes into the 2010 season with far fewer uncomfortable questions to answer. After advancing to the AFC Championship game a year ago, the Jets are no longer running a deficit in excitement. In fact, the only question surrounding this crop of rookies is a shockingly luxurious one: Are they even necessary? This offseason, the Jets filled holes at wide receiver, linebacker and defensive back with veterans in Santonio Holmes, Jason Taylor, Antonio Cromartie and Brodney Poole. These moves effectively turned the draft into a bonus round: Rookie fullback John Conner of Kentucky said that before camp they were told by the team that their role was to help give the team depth. First-round pick Kyle Wilson of Boise State will ease into a role as nickel back on passing downs. UMass Offensive lineman Vladimir Ducasse will compete for playing time at guard and USC running back Joe McKnight will be a change-of-pace back behind LaDainian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene. Mr. Conner, the fullback, will be guided along by incumbent fullback Tony Richardson. "I think it's more relaxed, people are just trying to find their roles and not be that one big star," said Marcus Henry, a third-year wide receiver who worked out at mini-camp. "It's a lot calmer now." The calmness was reflected during rookie mini-camp. The Mark Sanchez mania of last season was replaced on the field by stories that were much less consequential. Mr. McKnight vomited during one practice, for instance, while Mr. Holmes got in some trouble on an airplane over the weekend. "This draft was great because Mike Tannenbaum put us in a position to where we can go into the draft and just really take the best guys," Mr. Ryan said of his general manager. "A guy to save the franchise, we don't need that. We just needed to get a little bit better." Mr. Ryan said some of the team's undrafted free agents have impressed him. He reserved his highest praise for Cory Reamer, a linebacker on a tryout from Alabama who signed a contract with the team on Monday. For the Jets, not being in any big hurry to find a role for their rookies is a nice problem to have. "We've got depth like crazy," Mr. Ryan said.
I have to admit I usually only post when I have something to contribute, but I need this one and another to read links.
