+1. It shouldn't be too difficult to get Henderson to learn how to two gap. Henderson's size is almost a perfect fit for it and his surprising agility, speed and his ability to shoot probably make him a better fit for Rex since he likes to work with multiple fronts.
I know someone posted that it was on ESPN but I have not seen it anywhere that the Jets are interested in HENDERSON------I hope we do bring him in but can someone check on this I have seen and read zilch
Rotoworld has mentioned the Giants being interested, the Jets have not been mentioned as suitors for him. Keep in mind a good portion of this is speculation and current Jet-speculation is more centered around Adalius Thomas than John Henderson.
Oh, okay. Good. I don't see why we wouldn't be pushing hard for this guy, even if he's only effective in 4 man fronts...we run those often.
I still think that the Jets need to go get Henderson, but I can't find anything linking him to the NYJ either. But according to somebody earlier in the thread, ESPN mentioned it that the Jets are kicking the tires on it... whatever that means...
The article in question mentioned that the Giants are kicking the tires. The Jets haven't been mentioned at all. Whoever said it earlier was mistaken. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...-27_source_jets_unlikely_to_sign_adalius.html
Only have heard Chiefs, Browns, and Giants are interested so far. But a lot of newspapers are speculating other teams also interested. Nothing about us though sadly I'm just hoping its hidden because of all the stuff out there about us and AT who at this point I don't want. Already got JT for better or worse we should bolster our front 3 some.
Henderson would be the perfect signing to help out our D line. I want the jets to go get him so bad, would love to see Henderson getting slapped pre game in Hard Knocks haha
What would he play in our defense? NT? If so I think Rex is comfortable with Kris, Pouha, and I forgot the other player whom helped fill Jenkin's spot.
At 6'7", it would be difficult for him to play nose. He would have to get really low in order to get the proper leverage on the center and guards. He might be able to do it but he would have a much easier time playing on the end, opposite Ellis.
