Giants just released talented but oft injured Will Peterson. Do you think he is worth considering for added secondary depth?
We have four serviceable corners. And we're not sure how good two of them are. No need to delay their development since we're not contending anyway, by crowding the backfield.
We don't need any more cb's. our secondary is overstaffed if you ask me. we need lb and dl depth. besides i never thought of peterson as a good CB
Hes still fairly young if i remember correctly and he was a beast in his first couple years-id take him
Multiple compression fractures of the spine. No thanks. This guy is going to wind up crippled if he keeps playing and that's why the Giants released him. He had 3 years to go on his contract so it was definitely not a feeling on their part that they'd pay the contract this year and watch him go FA next.
What he needs is time to rehab, work out, and see if he can heal. With the nature of his injury, he isnt even worth a flyer right now.
