Fullbacks are a dime a dozen...How many great FBs are in the NFL.2 or 3 maybe..We reached for conner and we needed to adress our DLINE this year and since gholston,We have not drafted a lineman yet..
BTW, I don't think Conner was brought in to be a full back, per se. I think he's more of a present to Westhoff. We've got our gunners, but we need a serious hitter to let our gunners be effective. Conner's going to be that guy.

You just don't get it. Sure there are plenty of FBs but like you said very few good FBs. I'll admit I don't know much about the guy, but I hear he is a monster on special teams, and a great blocker. I wanted to get Ricky Sapp too, but it just didn't happen. The picks were still solid. LW was done in NY anyway.

We got something for him, when essentially he would have walked for nothing or been cut if he's not healthy at the end of camp... Really? The guy had a greedy agent who thought he could get silly money for damaged goods. I love Leon, but the injury he sustained in the game last season was a compound fracture. Both bones were broken and a rod had to be inserted. He has only ran in a straight line and has yet to test making cuts...Leon said he's on track to start the year, but that's what he said. I think the Jets did what they can and got what they could. I wished we would have picked up a DE, but I trust what the Jets are doing.
