I would trade our 2011 number one pick for a top three pick in round 2 today and try to leverage it into three number 4's and a late number 2.

Do what the Pats did yesterday and trade a few spots back three times and number 4 picks this year are like number 3's next year and our number 1 next year is going to be the 32nd pick anyhow.

Doing this would build a powerhouse for the next five years.

Dont think theres too many teams with 3 # 4s and a late 2nd.

Honestly as much as I'd hate giving up future picks as I'm seeing this draft unfold I think we're going to have to dip into next year if we want to accumulate more this year which I believe we should. So if trading our #1 next year can get us 3-4 more picks this year it is definitely worth it in the end. If we have to throw a player in there somewhere so be it. Whether it be Faneca, Leon, BT whoever it's the best thing for us to do.

I would only trade a 1st round pick for a healthy Troy Polamalu.

Hai gaiz...no. This is totally a good move and totally doable. Check this out. We party line it up. Be all like "Yo, Jerry Jones, get on the phone muthafucka." And he be all like "Yo, wut up Tanny, you pimp?" And we be like "Hang on. Let's get Minnesota on the phone." And we all like "ZYGGGGGGGGG" and Zygi's like "Wutup boyz!" and we be like "Yo, Zygs, we want that 34." And he's like "No way. I totally wanted out of that pick. What you got?" And we're all like "First next year, homes, and Vernon Gholston. But you gotta give us something else" And he's like "I got Arbys gift cards" and we're like "DOOOONE" and then Jerry's like "Uh, hai gaiz, why am i here?" And we're like "Ok, we done, Zygs. Much love to the Favre" and we hang up and we're like "Ok, check this out. I totally didn't want to say this with Zygs on the phone, but we totally want to trade that pick to you so you can take Taylor Mays." And jerry is all like giggling and we're like "No, get serious. You need to get Bobby Kraft on board. Call him and be like 'I'll blow you for that 4th you got from Denver' and give him like Patrick Crayton or somefin too." And Jerry will be all like "No way. OMG. I can't do that." and he'll be all giggly and shit but we'll talk him into it and we'll totally cover up the mouth on our phone so Bob can't hear it but he'll totally go along with it because he's gay and shit and we'll get them to give us those 4 4th rounders AND their 2nd rounder and we'll totally make this happen.

If they really loved a player here at the top of the round and were able to get a top 3 or 4 pick in this round and a later round pick, I wouldn't be opposed to it. In Tanny I trust. But I just don't see the one player there that would help the Jets that much this year that it would be worth it.

That being said, I wouldnt be surprised to see Tanny dip into next years picks (not necessarily 1st) to try and move up today.

Not a terrible idea considering the The 32nd pick is only a few slots higher

    A top three and a 2 fours

34,68,98,99 are just about equal value to pick 15 overall.

If you could find a partner for that the O.P, is correct...but..how many teams are selecting enough, or want to stand pat enough to do that in this draft...?
