With Claussen and McCoy still there, I don't understand it. McDaniels is either a genius or a complete MORON.:breakdance:

Too bad the Bronoc's did this. There were numerous rumors that the Bills were going to pay the Jets a ransom to move up to 29. Oh well Wilson will do.

This is probably the best spot for Tebow right now. The Broncos have a large group of QBs they can throw to the wolves while Tebow learns how to play QB.

Even bigger reason to hate it:

    The Dolphins got Jared Odrick.

If Baltimore had stayed, I'm guessing he'd have been the pick.

Odrick from what I am reading is going to be a good player. That said there are quite a lot of people down here that are mystified by this pick. I say mystified but pissed is better. They do not understand it at all.

Like I said on numerous occasions, I don't follow the draft that much but the Fins not picking the best LB was weird. In their 2008 draft, 2 of their 1st 3 picks are in direct competition with this guy and Starks arguably their best Dlineman as well. This pick just does not seem to help this defense which was brutal last year......

I agree though if the Bronco's do not make this ridiculous trade then Odrick could easily be the pick.

As soon as I saw Miami had leaped ahead of us, I knew they were taking Odrick. Whom they don't overly need, as they have much larger holes to fill.

We have 9 picks left to fill 3 spots (FS, 1 OLB, and maybe a Nose). I think we'll do alright.

And Ozzie Newsome raped the Broncos with no lube.

Three picks for a fucking fullback? McDaniels is fired within 3 years.

Man, I can't believe they gave up that much for Tebow. And I can't believe the Broncos made 4 trades in the first round. McDaniels will either do down in history as a genius or an idiot. There will be no in between.

Why the Broncos let Mcdouchebag be their gm/coach is just insane. I understand letting him be the coach but he's gotten a a ton of picks for Cutlet and Marshall and used them on crap.

How do you know he got crap? I don't know! Nobody knows yet! Only time will tell on this. Just because some so-called experts think Tebow won't be great doesn't mean he won't.

One thing is for certain, the guy's a winner.

They wanted tebow, and they knew the Bills were burning up the phones to get him. So they did what they had to for it to happen.

How are Alphonso Smith and Robert Ayers doing? Your boy Mcdaniels inherited Cutler and Marshall. He turned them Tebow and Williams. Hows Richard Quinn doing?

First off, McDaniels isn't MY boy. I don't even like the Broncos. I just think that we don't know how Tebow is gonna do. We know Cutler is overrated.

I changed my mind, I really don't understand why McDaniels would choose Tebow over Claussen AND McCoy. I really don't get it but I may be wrong.

I'm kinda surprised they went QB at all. Brady Quinn must be showing them nothing at all...

more importantly, they now will have 3 huge QB salaries on the roster for no apparent reason, plus Brandstater as the 3rd/4th QB. Wouldn't shock me to see Orton run out of town if Quinn is healthy.

    it was just a 2nd and 3rd for a late 1st

the 4th picks were swapped and a 5 spot difference

a 40th and 70th for the 25th selection isn't some kind of robbery

not to mention the broncos still have a 2nd round pick and two 3rd rounds

Good for Tebow. He won't play at all this season though.

You guys are assuming McDaniel's will still be the HC in Denver long enough to see Tebow take the field.

I hated that trade, even though it took you away from Earl Thomas. You got a better 2nd rounder out of it than the one you lost for Marshall and can likely still get a good NT at that point in Cam Thomas. Odrick gets you younger (and likely better) at DE, and there's some depth at OLB that you can take advantage of in the 3rd. Unfortunately, it looks like the Dolphins are off to a very good draft. The only thing that would have made it worse for us is if Williams had fallen to 28.
