Does he count as a UFA since we didn't pick up his option? If so maybe we can throw some money to Sharper... also considering how some bonuses don't count in the final 8 rule. Any other interesting UFAs for 2 mill? PS If not please move to NFL forum...
Nah he's a cut player, because the option was still a counted year. So he doesn't mean anything in terms of the Jets signing other players. That sucks. Lito, if healthy, will help them out. He didn't do too bad when he was 100%.... but he was barely 100%.
Unfortunately that awesome play he made against the Patriots in week 2 to break up that deep pass cost him. He got injured on that play and was never the same. It speaks volumes when a player gets benched for the biggest game of the season like he was in teh AFCCG. If healthy, we'll see what hes got left in the tank in week 5 when he faces Edwards, Cotch and the debut of Santonio Holmes.
Eh, best of luck to the guy, sucks he got banged up last year for us but I have no ill will towards him. I just want to see our trio of wideouts burn him down field.

I remember when this guy used to be a household name in the league. A real gamebreaker. Now all I pretty much fall asleep when I see the guy's name in text. Matter of fact I took a 5 minute nap at some point during this post.
