Playing devils advocate in terms of drafting sanchez, i believe that it could have hurt our chance to win a superbowl.i know if we didnt draft sanchez thatt we would have more than likely have picked up either Mcnabb or Rothlisberger which both could have given us a very good chance to get to the superbowl. Both are proven capable to getting there.. Although i like mcnabb better for the short term, i believe rothlisbeger wuld have been better because he is younger. Do you think that drafting sanchez could have hurt us more in terms of our ability to reach the superbowl? what do u think about the whole scenario? it kind of makes me wonder about the sanchez pick. I still think it was the right choice overall drafting sanchez but we still dont no if hell turn out good.
WTF???? We drafted long term - not stop gap pick ups. If Sanchez stays healthy he will be franchise for a long time. Thread fail....
horrible horrible thread. sanchez is a good young player that can not only be on the team for years but has the potential to be a star in this league. Ben wil be suspended for 6 games and mcnabb has seen better days. when sanchez was drafted we were still a young team looking for the future, if they didnt think he was ready to lead this team to the superbowl then they would of not put us in the position of a win now team
Engrish please............. Here is an even better use of playing the devils advocate...... What if you used paragraphs, upper case letters and coherent thoughts?
i must still be high. Mark Sanchez with a year playing on our team already is way more important then what Mcnabb would do for us. Mark also won 2 playoff games while McNabb looked like doodoo butter.
OT: You guys should lay off a bit. He's a fellow Jets fan and a fellow TGG member. I didn't realize you had to be an excellent writer to post your opinions or your thoughts. If you think it's not a worthwhile thread, then ignore it! Simple. Moving on to the hypothetical... I think that if we had not drafted Sanchez, and instead tried out Clemens or someone else last year, we may have made a move for McNabb or Big Ben. And obviously, I think if we had one of them, particularly Big Ben, our SB chances for this upcoming season would be improved. However, McNabb is on the way out, and who knows how Big Ben will handle himself when he comes back from his suspension. I'm glad we have a QB who is a.) long time, which McNabb is not, and b.) staying out of trouble.
hey guuys i also thought of somethin.what if the jits didnt draft sanchez but drafted superman.i think we would haave better chance of the superbole becuase superman could throw a ball super far.also he could spin the earth and turn back times and kill hitler wich would also be awesome i think.
Sorry, but anyone who wonders out loud if drafting Sanchez "hurts our chances to win the Super Bowl" deserves whatever harsh reponse they get. It's ridiculous. Let's all move on and act like this never happened.
