I think this is a great move for them. A professional and knowledgable (football-wise) guy who has good hands and is a big target. I think it's a perfect fit, unfourtunately.

Most of the league passed on Holt last season. This move doesn't scare me unless M. Coleman is the man covering him.

The Pats already have their Marshall/Holmes with Moss. They needed a smart guy who runs great routes and has great hands on the other side. They've been missing that for about 3 years.

Not earthshattering, but a nice pick-up. He didn't have number in 09, but he was on the Jags... nuff said.

Revis is the best, but Cromartie is just another guy coverage-wise.

Holt has never been a slot receiver, and he won't be for the Pats. As for him being washed up, well that remains to be seen.

    The Patriots, somehow, get older

I didn't think it was possible.

Hahaha, Tory Holt. If Welker's out then there is no part of this WR corps that scares me.

It's not a bad move...... He's a solid veteran depth guy. If the JETS didn't get Santonio, I wouldn't mind having Holt as a #3 possession guy.

TO and Moss in the same locker room would create a Black Hole of Ego that would suck the Earth and the entire solar system into oblivion. For the sake of mankind, I sincerely hope that never happens!

I'll call bullshit. Moss would just take more plays off.

Holt won't be their slot guy, Edelman will. Holt will be split out wide. I actually think it's a pretty good signing for them, but it's not like he will make a huge difference.
