Braden (2-0, 2.70) ____________________________________________________ Sabathia gets another good matchup in game 3.
I despise west coast games. I want to watch my team play damnit. Anyway, this is going to be a weird series. I'm iffy on game 1. It's really dependent on Vazquez. If he pitches well, the Yankees will win (and probably sweep.) If he doesn't, they'll lose and if he comes out early we stand to lose game 2 as well. I'm taking Sabathia in game 3. Right now, he's about as good as it gets in the AL. I give even odds that we either win 1 or all 3. I don't see a split where we win this series.
I just read, people are speculating a NY team (not specified) will lose a player to a PED violation, they are speculating its Teixera or Nick Johnson. I have not seen any creedence to this... Anyone got anything more???
http://www.metsblog.com/2010/04/20/buzz-impending-ped-suspension/ Now they are saying contrary to the WFAN's report it's not a NY player... ...who fucking knows...it's supposed to be announced later today or tom.
HOLY SHIT IT'S JETER! ...leading off tonight's game against the A's. Glad to see he's feeling better.
hehe. It's all speculation, It's probably a complimentary player, and nothing in the original post says anything specifically about NY...it was just WFAN who reported it wrong.
He's stayed out of trouble, but his velocity is down again. Hope it's just mechanical, and not that he's hurt. ETA: Although it's been getting better... maybe he's figuring it out. Such a hard thing to do in game.
