he is interested in making money and playing football and also being with his family all year around. the guy has a family and they have always lived in florida. his options if he comes to new york are to be away from them for half the year or move them to new york. it's easy to forget personal considerations for these guys but at the end of the day they are humans too. it doesn't matter if this gets done in 5 minutes or thursday night at 7:00 if it gets done before the draft it is a good move for the jets.

The Jets have created plenty of positive buzz this offseason picking up players who want to come play for them, and are coming off a nice playoff run. They presented this guy with an opportunity to play for a winner, and he's jerking them around. You don't want some guy picking your team as a "fallback" option, because his effort may be affected.

That's actually the only reason he hasn't signed. He wants to beat the Brett Favre thread on TGG.

It doesn't exactly take a genius to see that this thread is frequently the last one commented on on the main page, and, well, that there's more than 400 posts in this thread because of the number listed to the right. I haven't read one response in this thread until now, so take a bow.
This is why I usually stay in the BS section this time of year.

    Who would we draft?

Who would we try to draft if we signed Taylor?

Rumor is he is coming back after the Draft. Forgot where I read that, so don't count on what I just said.

Maybe he has a spa day lined up for when he gets back--facial, Brazilian, the whole bit.

idk who but we have to go Dline i think if he signs or not. that is our thinnest position by far between aging players and just not having any depth

I'm all but certain he was due back today, but still won't make his decision until after the draft.

Plain and simple, let's just draft a guy. Forget this tool. He'd help, but forget it. He has been trying to play us against Miami, and Miami wants nothing to do with him. Let him retire unceremoniously thanks to his overplayed hand.

He's returning from Costa Rica today......but I wouldn't expect to hear anything today about Taylor, whatsoever.

Tomorrow, or Wednesday we'll know one way or the other if Taylor is going to be a Jet, imo.
