The main reason is the cost to build. As an example, Cowboys Stadium cost less and is bigger and better than the NMS. Labor, materials and general overhead costs are way out of proportion in the NY area versus other parts of the country.
But it doesn't taste nearly as good- Bagels everywhere else suck, I know that has nothing to do with your point, just saying.
Just say unions vs a illegal aliens work force & you have your answer as to why the NMS is so much costly with no dome then the Cowboy palace is
Okay, So Maybe I'd Like To Take The Tour TWO QUESTIONS FELLAS: (1) Okay, so I paid my invoice in full today by CC. Now I'm entitled to take the tour? Is the tour ONLY this weekend? I don't think I can make it Fri, Sat or Sun. Are there any days next week? Will taking the tour enhance my chances for getting an Upper Deck upgrade? (2) OFFICIALLY, when do the Jets say we can inquire about an upgrade in the UD? I am reading all kinds of things across the board... Tuesday, Friday... WTF? I thought this was going to be done systematically, by seniority. I don't want to miss out on an upgrade because I didn't call and harp the shit out of them, but it's not my style to call every other day and bust balls. It would be kind of nice if the Jets assigned some sort of reasonable order to all this shuffling. If I have to, I will call the FO and get a handle on this.
Jets last week told me late spring/Early summer would contact wait list people for UD etxc. Would ask again on tour.
Okay, so what's supposed to take place, say, April 20th? Did they tell you they'd be calling by seniority or was it just left up in the air that everyone should start clogging the phone lines and pestering the shit out of them? I'm sure they don't want that. It sure would be nice if the Jets would at least afford their ticketholders the most basic, minimum amount of courtesy, by informing us UD'ers as to what is to take place. But Oh No... fuck the UD'ers, let them twist in the fucking wind. No PSL = No Information, Intimidate and punish them for not taking a PSL. Bastards.
Funny when I paid my invoice it threw me to an ad for a jets newsletter and it asked if I was interested in receiving information about "single game" preminim seating offerers? WTF
The ticket area of the website is so disgracefully loaded with cut-rate offers now that it looks like a fucking BJ's web page. "Samsung 42" - was $849 - NOW $699!" It looks ridiculous. Talk about hard up.
Jets just said they 4 on the aisle in row 18 of 143, seats 1 and 2 in rows 6 and 7 in 108 plus seats 1 and 2 in row 6 of 144. WTF supposedly they were sold out to row 18 and below in touchdown corners and LGL two weeks ago!! Like you said seems like plenty of seats around. They still won't give up on the 15k psl down to 7.5k on 25 yd line
be prepared to hoof it to the top.no escalators operating. nice of the jets to supply such convenience for our money spent. i guess they want to make it so uncomfortable that you'll decide to buy psl on the tour.i wanted to bring my dad but impossible now.
