1968 AFL Championship game vs. Raiders

No dvd but I will do you one better...I was at the game

 

I was there live & in person & have been trying to get it on VHS 4ever but so far no luck. I do have the actual NBC telecast of SB3 as a consolation prize though

 

The NFL Films highlight tape is good watch, but I agree the full game would be special. Did many (any?) people have home VCRs back then?

 

There were NO home VCRs in 68. The TV networks had some kind of copying equipment

 

^Reel to reel, I reckon, later pirated onto video. Can't say I've heard of the AFC Champ game being out there. If it is, hell, I'm game. Er...

 

I know this may seem far fetched, but a buddy of mine has a friend that works for NFL Films. About five years ago, I got SB3 on video tapes from him. This was before they converted the libraries to DVD...Now they have converted the libraries to DVD. I will inquire if I can get a copy of this game in its entirety. Give me a couple of days to get an answer.....

Cause a NFL team was in SB 3 whereas the championship game was a all AFL affair

 

My bro lives in the Bay area & has checked Blockbusters out there but no luck so far
