Ah, Apologies then, Being a Met fan is frustrating as fuck. Funny enough, Whenever I'm working, I seem to get more money in tips, and just a better attitude in general from the out of town fans. Maybe their just not trying to be douchebags, but even yankee fans seem to tip a little better. I've had many more Met fans then yankee fans be ass holes to me. Most philly fans have been really respectful to me as well, it's kinda odd, maybe their trying to show people up, but I've noticed it.
I'm going to be working tomorrow as well. Have they mentioned how long the workout tomorrow was going to take place? I know gates open at 9:30, open workout starts at 11, but other then that...
Minaya getting fired would be awesome Jacobs was a good hitter, had a horrible year last year. There's a chance he could be a quality guy in the lineup if he returns to form
I can't believe they are really going into this season with one starting pitcher that can be counted on. Everyone else is a toss up. Amazing that Minaya can't draft one good f'ing pitcher. They gave 60 million to ollie and castillo when they should be pumping that money into the draft and international free agency. What a joke.
happy easter and why do the mets have a sign that says "Prevention and Recovery" in 3 Spring Training facilities and one big one in the Citi Field Clubhoue? i get the idea, but we have 3 starters and 4 all together on the DL already.... terrible motivation ploy.
We have to be in the bottom third of starting rotations and one of the worst pitching staffs as a whole...Johan can only pitch once every 5 days.
Its a new season, can't help but to be excited. Maybe somehow, things will work this year. Lets go Metties may our pitching staff survive a season. And may Reyes and Beltran, get and stay healthy.
Obviously, but if Bay is sitting a day, Jacobs could take up the cleanup spot, if he is back to his old ways.
I like my clean-up hitters to have an OBP of at least .300. Even if they're filling in for someone. There's no reason to suspect he's back to his old ways, and it's not like he was Ruth back then anyway.
Come on though, we've got two Japanese guys in our bullpen..... I'd be much more excited if one of them was named Yu Darvish but they're not.
